    Now that weve got a Custom Station System, is there a way to get custom Races/NPC-factions?
    Id like to see more than Ps and TG...

    Implementation of the ability to have enemies besides Pie Rats ( :P ) and Traders is planned, but might not be in for a little while.

    but ive seen some servers with Custom NPCs in it, how did they do that? I want it too...
    Meh, they probably set it up manually... I don't know much about how to do it, but it probably involves a lot of usage of admin commands and stuff to change factions and whatnot, not to mention some Lua conversation editing and stuff.

    Well, L5 ore is no more.
    And you can't make faction modules yet,
    So the 2 main sources of income are gone.

    ...You mean, two main sources of illegitimate income? I'd assume that by the next update, prices will be rebalanced, and amassing massive amounts of credits will no longer be as simple as creating massive piles of faction modules and using them to pull credits from shops.

    Well i would understand if this is the full update
    But it isn't.

    This is still fairly early alpha; half-finished patches are kind of to be expected...

    The old factory system is still 100% functional. You can still find higher level ore (even if it looks different) for the recipes. I left the new factory stuff in for people to get a little preview of how it will work in essence. The prices block changes of the L1-L5 are already in so people get accustomed to it. This patch is also not only about the features but also about the bugfixes.

    If I would have made a sudden change for economy, people would probably be upset, as all the things they own suddenly have different prices, or turn into rock.

    I'm trying to hold my promise of releasing often. This means that features requiring a lot more work may be WiP (as said, I usually keep that away from the game and don't talk about it much until it's done, but I wanted to give players a preview in this case)

    So what's next? I'm guessing a fully fleshed-out crafting system, but will we eventually have other decorative items like chairs? I'm guessing not soon, as it would require new animations but it'd be nice to know.

    Schema, the removal of terrain blocks from the shops (everything from grass, plants, rock and crystals) was intentional, or is it a bug?

    Sadly, I don't think that's coming any time soon... But who knows?

    Materials will be basically unlimited. Just a few simple guidelines (more details will be posted on the actual announcement):

    • Type of station (pirate, neutral, traders) has to be specified
    • A certain color pallet should be used to identify the type (bluish for traders, reddish for pirates)
    • no names of groups/etc are allowed as blocks on the stations (stations will be credited in the files)
    • don't use too many valuable blocks as players raiding will be able to mine them
    • Turrets are encouraged on pirate and trader stations
    • Neutrals should be made look to be abandoned

    this is just what I can come up with atm.

    Also, currently, display block content isn't saved with the blueprint, but that will be added with the next update.
    isn't the colour code for pirates purple/blue?

    how in the seven levels of burning hell can pirates be blue? :P
    i think it will be like this for stations.
    pirate ->red/black/gray
    trade guild->blue/white/gray
    neutral(abandoned)->brown/yellow/gray
