Yes, but also: No shields of their own, no effects, no nothing. Benefit is that the greebly parts can never be shot off, and share the main ship's shields completely.

Not invincible, but protected by the ship itself. We don't even need extra rails for this---anything docked to any rail that does not contain any effects or anything could be protected as a decorative object....provided that it is beneath a certain mass threshold (Making the exploitation of this for docked armor that much harder) and contains no systems of any kind.

Please, for the love of god, do not include this part. We JUST got rid of docked reactors, we do NOT need them readded.

-Energy generation and capacity is fully merged with the mothership's (so when in build mode for the mothership, you will see the stats as if they were part of the mothership).

Dont worry, we read the suggestion as subtype of docking, for doors and alike.

You can for example omit the raildocker and core, and thus do not need to make it overlap or go in "full contact" with some cover frame to hide those two blocks.
This reduces physics stress by moving doors (at least for small ones) as you reduce the size by 20-30% in average.

They wont share systems in any way. (except, they are protected by parent shields and alike)
