    I don't like the capital turret too much, because of the hull-placement.

    But your fighter looks interesting.
    How did you distribute shields between ship/turret? Perhaps (you gave me the idea) you can build a turret completely surrounding the ship.
    yeah,ill improve that turret design completely,i liked the idea tho :P.

    the only problem would be placing the camera just outside the turret sphere. but then if you have a barrel on that turret and it decides to roll around that camera,it might hit it and colide.
    or just place a camera a bit more far out up in the back,and decorate it to look like a small "traveler" cam from destiny,lol

    That's why I said area-triggers or something else invisible which blocks fire (a block-made bubble shield which essentially is part of your turret)

    But with cameras, it could lead to interesting combat decisions (blind your enemy? switch to build mode mid-combat to replace cameras? retreat with your last camera at the rear side?)

    I really am liking this update. Makes me completely rethink how I build ships and so many unique designs can be made. This was something I threw together just while learning how to use em last night.

    I'd love have a very inconspicuous looking ship which would just unveil A METRIC FUCKTON of guns, missile launchers and turrets in "combat mode". That's definitely something I'd like to build in the future.

    Looks like we've got hotbar assignable logic in the latest dev-build in the form of the "Inner Ship Remote" block. You can even name them. This should make transforming ships and fancy weapon effects much more practical on an everyday basis even if it only is for aesthetics.

    If the remote block is fully integrated with logic as one would expect you can vastly increase the number of ship functions you can control with a few remotes by linking different remote blocks into logic switches with the output leading to the actual functions you want activated, sorta like keys on a keypad.

    With the ship hotbar controlled logic I'm going to develop a certain proof of concept to see if this is actually feasible. The primary animation cycles I'm going to go for are:
    1. Walking animation
    2. Space flight passive animation
    3. Gun up/down animation
    4. punching animation
    5. kicking animation
    6. Logic switch to fire weapon
    The remaining four slots are open right now but I'm reserving one for head vulcans for shooting down missiles. If anyone can think of any other necessary anims let me know

    Sadly, you probably won't be able to make it walk... There's no grip.

    You could probably preserve a slot by making the head a PD turret. That way it would automatically look at enemy missiles and shoot down with head vulcans. If you're going to go the extra mile and make a prototype psycommu MS with drone funnels, you could try and make it squat or some other dynamic pose while it launches maybe?

    Let the mobile suit wars begin!
