only those belonging to the glorious flight stick master race have that ability. For all of us dirty keyboard & mouse peasants we have to stay in the core and press W for long periods of time. lol
i thought about this a while ago. It does make sense for balance reasons. if your up against an opponents knowing what type of effect he's using just by the color of his weapons will allow u to know how to defend against it
sounds reasonable. i had already said in my op that beams would be ignored entirely for balance reasons. on missiles i was thinking more along the lines of having them bounce off the pulse instead of detonating. this could be used as a tactic by more experienced pilots to send missiles back at...
i said that the pulsars damage stat would affect the deflection ability. rapid fire pulses would only work on extremely weak projectiles while more powerful ones would go right though it.
this is why i wanted the beam weapons to pulse instead of being a constant beam.
a pulse beam could have a vary far range while the slow rate of fire keeps it balaced
not to my knowledge. for anything beyond the credit limit use the /load command. you would use it like this
/load blueprintname shipname
ex. /load Fighter-Agni-MkII ilikepie
The sliders are gone. now stats of weapons are more directly affected by by the Master/Slave system. for a higher rate of fire from weapons i would use Cannons as a slave since Cannons by their nature increase the rate of fire of any weapon.
