      Allow Shop Blocks On Ships

I cannot say that I'm up for this idea. I think there should be an easier method for small individual trades other than throwing money/goods at another players feet but the idea of some kind of travelling shop isn't it I don't think.

Anyone like the idea of only building in shipyards I don't

Just tossing an idea in. If it was possible to copy a turret entity and paste it onto a turret axis it would useful. Or simply being able to spawn in premade turrets into the build space and snap them into position.

What is the point of carriers?

One fighter could but twenty? It is also very satisfying to see ships launch from the carrier, do their thing and then do a swirly dance while they try and dock when you recall them!

      Docking Bug - new update

Main Menu > Tools & Mods One click and you're done. Worth a try if you have increased the sector size. You could also still be on the edge of a sector or crossing sector boundaries. Press C then move the ship so that the circle in the middle of your HUD is EXACTLY in the middle of the marker...

      Docking Bug - new update

Looks like a sector size issue to me too. Try clearing your client cache too, that might help.

      Do my ships suck?

I make ships that have some exposed systems but not like the interior of an Isanth VI! Some are like this on purpose, like my Dimension 2 Stealth Scout. Others would work well without the hull blocks but to me, wouldn't be a viable space craft. I build for RP and tend to go towards aesthetics...

      Kupu's thread

I am thoroughly enjoying visiting some of my old ships and stations with the new textures. Many of them seem so more "alive" with some of the glowing lights and discreet animations. Despite the odd "misses", I think this update has added almost as much to the game as the NPC update but without...

      How Drone Mining Works

I have tried a mix of drones. The larger ones do the bulk of the work and when the asteroid is down to the last 1,500-2,000 blocks I deploy a couple of my original 5x5x5 drones that can tuck in better and pick off the single blocks better than their larger conterparts. I too sometimes employ a...

      How Drone Mining Works

That is a good thought. I have tried mining the same asteroid as NPC miners in one of my Hyenas and they just carried on. NPC miners do tend to become VERY erratic when approached so I guess the two fleets would interfere with each other. Certainly worth experimenting with them.

      ASI Isanth-VI Jump Cargo 2.0

Isanth were impressed with the "stick" mining drones built by ASI and asked if a cargo pod version could be made. This excited the ASI designers so much that in their typical fashion, along with an 11k capacity cargo pod, a FTL capable ship was designed to carry one. The Jump Cargo carries a...

      ASI Isanth-VI System Shuttle 2.0

Once again, ASI and Isanth have comaborated together to bring the Type VI System Shuttle. The versatile and roomy ship can carry 8 passengers, some cargo and a crew of 2 on short, sub-light journeys. Two side mounted USDs allows for any eventuality and a nose mounted dock allows the ship to use...

      How Drone Mining Works

Just for information, I have never been able to have multiple fleets mine the same sector. I don't know for sure but I think the AI is unable to cope with this and so neither fleet works. As soon as you remove all the extra fleets the remaining fleet will begin to operate as normal.

      How Drone Mining Works

As I have said before, I must be incredibly lucky with mining fleets as I have almost never had any issues with them. True, I have had the odd drone to inexplicably refuse to work, despite being identical to the others in the fleet, but with a few minor exceptions most of my issues have been my...

      ASI Isanth-VI Scavenger 1.0

After the success of the ASI/Isanth Fleet Mining System, the two companies once again colaborate on a new ship. The Scavenger version has two small outriggers that hold on one side a cannon supported salvage array and on the other a dock for a single stick mining drone from the Fleet Mining...

ASI Hyena Class Type C Fleet Mining System 3.0

The Hyena Type C is a modified Hyena Class Day One Scavenger. The Salvage array was removed and replaced with more power and a larger jump drive. With the addition of 4 Hyena Type D drones, the Hyena Fleet Mining System is a useful addition to anyones fleet. It comes with a dorsal mounted dock...

ASI Hyena Class Day One Scavenger 8.0

The Hyena Class Scavenger was designed and developed for one purpose. The server I normally played on was resetting and I wanted something that I could build from the default starting resourses and some of the cash and be away from spawn as quickly as possible. I had a checklist of what I...

ASI Isanth-VI Fleet Mining System 1.0

Imagine the scene. The Director of R&D at Isanth approaches his counterpart at Aome Salvage & Industries and asks him if ASI could produce a Fleet Mining System based upon their popular Isanth Type-VI. The only catch was the short deadline. With the prospect of a lucrative association with one...

ASI Micro Fleet Mining System 1.1

It is of little surprise that Aome Salvage & Industries (ASI) develop a variety of salvage systems. The Micro Fleet Mining System has taken the Micro Scavenger and converted it into a small carrier for two compact mining drones. The mining drones, while small, are designed to be as efficient as...
