There are plans to dish out some isanth replacement concepts this weekend. I think Saber and I have agreed that the current design is far too outdated to really make good use of.

It's a good idea. Makes sense when it comes to pickup rails. We will have to ensure that there are no reasons we would want them to not do this, as rails have very specific logic rules. I will archive this suggestion so that we may eventually get to it if we cannot look into it now.
I am marking this planned, because it is on our long term gameplay features goals list. I cannot say how this will be implemented as it isn't a concern at the moment.
I imagine there might be a legit concern to making them faster. There is no reason Schema couldn't make them notably faster and yet he has not so perhaps it's an oversight or there are other issues. This is unfortunately a low priority issue. Since we are still working on rails I can ask if...
I cannot say what specific targeting options are going to make it into the game but there is no doubt they will need to be expanded upon in order to consider it finished.
As toasterborst has stated, it is currently either highly impractical to create new blocks with every wedge combination, or impossible to do with the current grid-based system that the blocks use.
Yes and as skylord stated it was an absolute nightmare to figure out the logic required to pull that off. At least for him. The system has to work for the average player, which means if we have to simplify it we will. Fleets come particularly useful for single players, and so they might not have...
I can tell you now that Schema has already shown us fleets mining for resources and looks to be coming within a release or two. Not sure what else is on the table so soon.
Pretty much all of this is planned. In order to keep things simple, I think as far as unloaded ships go we will be...
We already have ten hotbars yes? And even with capital ships I do not often see all ten hotbars filled. The most I have seen filled are 2, maybe pushing three. So why not make these commands bindable to the hotbar we already have? Sorry if this is what you were suggestions, it seems you want a...
I don't see why this can't happen. Either we are still conservative with our blocks or the others did not see the need for it. I will archive this suggestions for future discussion.
There are a few issues with this approach. Nothing prevents players from using external chat channels or voice coms to communicate. If this is present on a server it can prove a useless feature and possibly a waste of development time because we aren't forced to only use this system to...
