      A weapon/tool that allows a ship to anchor itself to another ship would be great for boarding too, gives astronauts a bit more to do.

      This isn't even limited to reviews, the majority of the ships on CC are more aesthetically focused (not that a ship can't be pretty and effective right now), and wouldn't really be viable as a pvp ship. This is honestly trying to solve a problem that doesn't really exist.

      I was more thinking grabbing the best 5 from both fleets. You could probably justify cutting the drones out but keeping them in the carrier, as a design feature of that ship. Just feels kinda weird having 2 almost identical fleets, but probably not *that* big a deal.

      Something I've noticed while looking at the fleets Paullus hasn't covered yet, Tech-priest's 2nd and 3rd fleets are pretty much the same and could really do with merging.

      More interior rooms like rec rooms etc can be nice. Also, if you have the power left over for it a passive effect like ion can be very effective.

      Decided to do another custom Battlestar build, have most of the hull shape done and the interior laid out.

      Another issue with this idea is it screws over people who use the community content to add custom pirates (and soon, fleets) to the game.

      Power is one of the easiest systems to work around interior though, since you proportionally need less of it compared to other systems.

      Splitting fleets into squadrons would be a great feature for mining fleets, being able to separate miners from patrol escorts etc, or recalling mining drones but not defense drones.

      I'd honestly completely rework how they function. Instead of having them choose their own target make the player aim them, there's still the niche of being able to missile spam with less power investment to override AMS.

      Yeah, it's definitely the 64 bit version. And thanks, the beta launcher works really well. I completely forgot about it.

      So after reinstalling Java, upping my memory allocation as high as I can get, lowering my max segments I've gotten up to a whopping 5 seconds of play time before the game just crashes. can't think of anything else to try really.

      More realistic. They can turn at a similar speed to small ships in Starmade, and can strafe (but not quickly). Basically, the player can already move like them, just not the AI. I think what would work best is to be able to save some settings on the ship (ie thrust set up, weapon preference...

      Fleet mining definitely needs a huge improvement, though I doubt the current incarnation was ever anything but a place holder. Something we really need is the ability to send miners out to track down asteroids and mine unloaded.

      Fleet mining is really bugged right now. From the sounds of it you might be able to use a wireless logic activated auto-mining set up on the mining drones, but it would only get you so far.

      Planets!

      I'm not especially bothered by the size of planets really, though they could stand to be bigger I guess. The actual problem is the lack of stuff on a planet when you get there. More cities, ruins, reasons to explore and things to find please.
