The rails are all working just not visible. Other blocks are missing as well. For some reason, I'm having issues uploading to the dock today. I'll try and explain the location.
On the bottom of the ship, there are two vertical sections of pickup rail. They appear to stop but they actually...
Will do. Upon further investigation, it seems to be several chunks that are corrupted. Do you want me to upload it to community content or someplace else?
Some pickup rails have disappeared off one of my ships. Docked entities still use them as if they were there. Advanced build mode doesn't show them but responds as if the block were there (yellow bounding box shows up.)
I have tried:
clearing client cache
despawning and respawning the ship...
I like this idea a lot. One thing I would also like though is if the offset could some how be controlled left/right/up/down/forward/back. This would be wonderful for adding HUDs above consoles in the middle of a bridge.
As of right now the core will open doors or activate logic. But once docked the core will no longer activate logic. Having a button/activation module in line of sight of the core while docked would allow a pilot in the docked ship to activate some sort of logic.
A while back I remember being able to activate a button on the "mother" ship while docked. This was great for when your landing pad moved into the ship for protection. It gave the ability to start the launch sequence with out having to have a wireless unit.
I think this is a good idea and would be more realistic. I would take it further to include things like Explosive Effect. Setting of a reaction in one of these would be similar to having a ships magazine hit.
When its on it still provides extra power. Even when it's off it provides a little extra power. The also store the power and provide a burst of power when first turned on. People shouldn't need to constantly charge and discharge if the aux power is providing the needed additional power.
