      I didn't think we had enough saucer shaped ships so I made some. It has an interceptor w/o jump drive. A guided missile frigate and a "dive" bomber.

      This idea makes a lot of sense. It can be a real pain to dock lots of turrets.

      An advantage that a DOT would have would be when a targets shields drop you fire your DOT weapon. When the shields come back up the DOT is still ticking on the blocks.

      I like the idea of emitters for turrets. How ever this should be for beam/energy type weapons. Cannons and missiles should not work via emitters.

      I think this would be great. What about the more modules you have the wider the cone to a certain point then it just gets faster.

      This is true and useful for security CCTV but probably not needed on a USD for a station. Even so you can leave the USD and simple remove the rail docker since a station can't dock to another entity.

      Actually on a station you can't use the camera or the rail docker. I usually remove them from a USD when I place it on a station. If you remove the rail docker then you already have the faction block in place for an external lockout.

      I do like the idea that if a door is slaved to logic then it shouldn't be able to open manually. Or as someone pointed out a mincraft like iron door that only works with logic.

      I can see both sides of the Ferrari debate how ever if its a SPACE Ferrari why would it have wheels? I would think a space Ferrari would have better controll and speed. BTW my V12 runs on anti-mater. Wheels how ever would be great for landing gear.
