      Inertia Dampeners

That way, you can \"park\" a ship and not worry about it being lost forever if someone bumps it, but if you want to walk around inside your ship while it\'s coasting off towards a distant system (I would do this a lot if it wasn\'t for the remaining gravity issues), you can.

help prevent players from just burying their core in the middle of their ship Well, if a core got hit, there must be a hole sufficient to fire a technobeam through, right? Doesn\'t really matter how deep or not deep the core is buried. Also, the player should die if the chair he is in gets...

Next generation: The solution to core drilling

This sounds like a pretty good idea(s). Combined with my idea for pilot seats, this may in fact render core drilling less likely to be used. However, we still need some method of boarding a ship and destroying or hacking faction blocks once a ship has been disabled.

Deep space area to separate star system distances

Spawn should be on a planet, in a building of some kind. Surrounding the building would be four medium-sized shipyards for building (or spawning) ships to fly out into the Great Unknown with. Blockading could be averted by protecting the sectors near spawn as well as the spawn sector itself, and...

      WE NEED MOAR POWER!!!

Agreed, regardless of whether we get other ways to generate energy or not (and we will) power tanks need buffing and power gens need nerfing. Anyway, personally, I\'d kind of like to see some kind of reactor-type block that is most efficient in large clusters (No weird awkward boxdim...

      Game Economy

Considering my belief that FTL should be necessary to travel even between two adjacent star systems in any less than 15-20 minutes (and without running into pirates sneaking around in deep space), I don\'t support the idea of FTL fuel... Though again, some kind of \"FTL Driver Coil\" component...

      Critter Beam

Who would even want to fight a critter in the first place if they could just zap it and cause it to stop fighting, then toss it out the nearest airlock when they get back into space?

Deep space area to separate star system distances

Assuming there\'s an autopilot (I have a flightstick throttle, so I don\'t have to worry. >:P ) a good amount of space is fine, even without autopilot... Solar systems should take up more space too, so reaching an outer planet from another outer planet may be shorter than reaching a star from...

      Hull Armor Absorption

...This actually makes complete sense, and would work really well (Though it wouldn\'t stop core drilling, merely slow it down to a tolerable speed;... The only thing that would fix that is to give ships other weakpoints.). +100. It would also be pretty neat if any AMC hit directly to, say...

a docking mechanic idea to fit docks into smaller areas

I have a little \"sled\" that I use to nip to the shops in (lol) which only has: 1 wedge in front of the ship core; a faction block, power block and thruster block behind it; is only 3 blocks wide (more wedges and corners on the sides) and 1 block high. 3 of these is then only 9 blocks wide, 1...

      Planetoid Instantiation

I\'m neutral on this... If there\'s a cool (and fluidly-blending) cutscene or something, then I wouldn\'t mind the instantiation, but if it is just a standard loading screen, then I\'d hate it... It would break immersion like crazy. (Ever played Star Trek Online? Then you know what I mean. :P)

      Planetoid Instantiation

Everything. It\'s not exactly a planet if you can\'t even build one proper city on it (or have a large mountain) without being able to see the edge of the disc.

Planets should be nameable via faction blocks.

...That was just maybe the seventh time in all of my time playing the game that I mentioned it somewhere.

      Automatic Gravity Radius

I have rode in quite a few peoples ships just using gravity, and was able to successfully stay in the ship while they were flying acrost sectors. If they haven\'t fixed it all the way, then its a ton better than it used to be :D used to fall out every time there was a sector change no matter...

      Chairs, and viewscreens.

That\'s the idea. Another suggestion of mine, though I haven\'t posted it, is (slow) handheld repair/healing beams, so that if a bunch of people got to Main Engineering/the core room in time and all shot their repair beams at the core it could bring it back up to 100%.

Deep space area to separate star system distances

This is needed, along with larger and less planets in solar systems.

      Chairs, and viewscreens.

That IS a good thing, and in fact part of the reason for my suggestion. It also means that we can put ship cores inside of big glowy armored structures that don\'t have any entrance (Like Star Trek warp cores) and when they die, it makes sense that the ship\'s going to blow up - \"WARNING: Warp...

Pilot/passenger/weapon-aiming-dude seats would be nice but ability to get inside a ship by entering a core should stay, because flying around in just a core is too comfortable :) You can just as easily fly in a core with a seat on top. The core should retain its capabilities as a camera...

      Automatic Gravity Radius

This would probably rectify that strange issue where people get dumped out of gravity on sector/system change. (I tested and discovered this aboard a Borg cube... I ordered the helm officer to thrust directly forward for a while, and sector changes didn\'t seem to mess anything up, until I hit...
