      \'Nuff said. Pilot seats, which wouldn\'t collide with players the way I imagine it, would fix this problem. The turret thing is a good point, though... but they would be orientable, like gravity, so you could simply walk out of the turret if it\'s well-designed.

The only issue is if Schema were to screw up the balancing, as devs have been sometimes known to do with character classes, and piss off a good amount of players, but knowing him, it probably wouldn\'t happen...

      ...The old light/shadow gradient range wasn\'t that bad. The only issue lies in the way things are shaded. If corners didn\'t bathe themselves in derpy, irremovable shadow, wedges didn\'t block out all light even on empty sides, and tetra/penta lighting wasn\'t so terribad, the old light balance...

      Yep, all of this would be really nice... Then I could stop being a pilot and start being a captain. As much as I dislike ship cores \"eating\" people when they enter them (WE NEED PILOT SEATS!), if it\'s just an AI bot I won\'t notice quite as much. Oh, and I won\'t die when the ship blows up.
