      Eh... I'll look into it more tomorrow. Under probably is better as it would be easier to accommodate more dock sizes. I could dock the butt of my Llama light freighter which has a 5x3 door i believe to the side of my carrier if I changed configurations.

      The ai menu works while piloting the mothership now. You still have to do one AI at a time but it's better than accessing each bobby AI

      I don't know if they can be activated via the structure tab yet. I've been activating them via the AI menu myself.

      A lot of people use the pipes decoratively, unless you mean just for the wireless block but then what's the point of even giving them a pipe?

      You should be able to just have a single rail that toggles it's direction when the light gets to an end, it would be smaller and run smoother.

      This is what I am using except I've reversed the two so the docker is on the right. My community has already agreed on that standard as well.

      Just makes me want an actual fixed dock even more or the ability to dock a rail docker to another rail docker and have them trigger logic. Without the ability to detect when another ship lands rails and rotors will make a poor choice for fixed docks. I'm sure there are a lot of people out...

      While I still want "gravity" based core centric docking I've though of an idea to test out on my carrier. It's not universal but it exploits a design similarity between all my small craft. I'm still interested to see what you came up with though.

      This is my current design. I prefer the arrows pointing inwards, and a locked rotor block looks a lot better than a rail as a single block.       Minigun prototype The barrel with the top facing cannon must be at the top of the gun in order to fire properly. The cylinder can be manually rotated into position via the button or from the hotbar.
