You are on a local network with 2 PCs using the same IP adress to connect to it ?
(if i did understood that correctly ... that isnt going to work at all !)
depending on your network setup ...
your PCs get assigned (manually or by a router) different IP adresses
one PC then starts a Starmade...
OK This Log at least looks more or less normal and indentifies your OS correctly

the log file suggests you are running on Win 8.1 64 bit (sure this is from a win 10 PC ?)
and it starts indeed with the 64 bit java version of the betalauncher
your entire logfile looks a bit irregular with video playing messages mixed into the normal startup where they do not belong ??
please...
@malcador .. sorry missed this. are you able to connect to multiplayer game servers ? if yes . please provide a log.txt.0 file from after failing to start a singleplayer session
make sure there isnt any other version of Java installed on your system
the description you are giving sounds like the game starts with a 32 bit java regardless of the 64 bit installed JDK.
do not set all 3 values to the same size. i suggest 4096/1024/256.
Or try out the new launcher...
this is the wrong forum for that ... falls under side support its not a problem with the game itself
and i would give it some time to handle it. could be that the data base for that isnt being updated in an instant .. but more like once a day maybe
there is no realistic texture pack anylonger. if that is still present then your game was installed along time ago ^^
goto the install folder of starmade and search for data\textures ... delete the whole content of that folder.
then make a repair installation to get the new textures.
you cant blame starmade for that .. it has nothing to do with it.
the new launcher has its own java packaged to avoid being dependend on the OS installed java.
i just now only have a 64 bit java in OS installed and dont see any problems with my browsers for example
[2016-07-23 14:46:12] Exception in thread "main"
[2016-07-23 14:46:12] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
maybe check memory settings on the starmade launcher
sadly that logfile seems to end in midair without any error being logged :(
Please download the new launcher from here : Launcher public beta!
run it and choose an install folder like c:\teststarmade to install the game too, and see if the default settings there are able to run a Singleplayer...
Check in (Starmadeinstall)\logs for a log.txt.0 file after one of those crashes. remove the .0 part and drag and drop it into an answer here.
in general .. a 32bit OS and i3 is a bit underpowered maybe when running singleplayer .
Its not fixed afaik : ⚓ T1551 Video Crash for Mac Not Fixed
do this :
open the settings.cfg with a text editor
search for these lines (likely at the end of the file) and change them into this
PLAY_INTRO = false //Play Intro
TUTORIAL_PLAY_INTRO = false
this disables the video playback and...

Ok .. taking a look at your install here .. maybe move it to a better place than Appdata first
it is full of:
[TAG] WARNING STRUCT DESERIALIZATION took too long:
not really an idea what that means. See if it happens if you move the installation some where else.
your install is currently at ...
Thats the stupid default path yes.
If you experience further problems ... change the path at the Launcher ... then close it and copy and paste the whole game from that appdate folder to thenew place (best for that is its own folder in a place like c: )
The logfile is outdated .. 12 days old.
