I agree with this statement. A docked reactor is an intelligent design that takes some level of skill and building experience to do right. They are very much a weak spot should one decide to rely on them, they can be taken out before the main ships shields are dropped, if even slightly damaged...

Torches ignore shields, that is their entire point. If you can break a ships shields and keep them down the laser pistol will work much faster and at range.

If your ship is in a position to be taken by a torch, chances are you would have lost that ship anyway. There are many counters, and taking a ship that has a pilot is even harder.

Personally I think you should have just put these all in one thread.

"Expensive" items like shield caps and stacks of quality armour are used as valuable trade items currently in servers. Plus if a server wanted to implement a currency system we have "command access" to items like Gold_Bar for coinage that can't be inflated.
