      No upper limit, though. As long as you can power it, an antenna can grow infinitely powerful for transmission of information.       Sensors detect things, scanners search for things. Basically, anyway. But it also depends on your particular brand of science or sci-fi. Jamming is inherently non-stealthy.       Really? I've tested. With a reasonable amount of blocks, an empty, 140-meter long Republic Frigate couldn't get above about a 5 m/s/s acceleration, which is unacceptably useless. Far better to just have the extra thrusters which give all-around mobility.

      I hate the idea of a system-ship proportion because it then says that a five-kilometer long antenna is less effective on a 500000000 mass vessel than on a 2 mass ship attached to the same antenna.
