      It's not a matter of IDs, its a matter of information that can be stored. Currently all blocks use three bytes of information. If you wanted to have full RGB for your blocks, you would need more bits than you already have. However, it is possible to rearrange the bits and merge the shapes...

      You could apply force on two axes at .7 normal gravity (hey, if this is implemented we might get variable gravity) or three at .6 at the same time, but the problem is you might wind up sliding down blocks because the system can't detect if you're standing on it.

      First, the parts about turn scaling and lock-on times are good. AMS, I have two ideas. One is a constant effect, (PD laser) missiles close to you have a chance to be destroyed, depending on the size. This only affects missiles within 100-150m of you (so it really can't be used on a small ship)...

      A bit of mohawk goes a long way. The mohawk on the scarb's cannon looks fine, but the others should probably be replaced with something else like what Ith suggested.

      I'm not sure that having crew fatigue is necessarily a good thing. As your fleet grows, you have to spend more and more time managing your crew than you do actually playing. If I only have 2 hours to play during a week, I would want to spend it taking out pirate bases or something, not dealing...

There would probably be some sort of training system, where the crew are busy and they slowly gain in a particular skill, but actual combat does wonders for that.       What I meant was that you would be able to put gravity block wedges down to define gravity at an angle, so you can walk flat on diagonals. Yeah you would probably want it on a trigger just to be easy. I can imagine making people walk around the inside of a sphere with this and some area...

      No, not the colors. There will be 64 orientations, which will be all used up by the shapes. Each type and color of block is still its own ID. EDIT: Also guys: ANGLED DOCKING MODULES!! And also angled gravity.
