      Frankly, I don't understand the Schine position on this. Ships can't claim territory, therefore no faction mining bonuses, etc. And if I want to play nomad style, why can't I? It is sandbox, right? Easy enough fix. Duh. Make it a config option. Those that want it, can. Those that don't, don't.

      Depends how many storage blocks you use and how your sort them. Or just use a shop module and /shop_infinite. I find that is the easiest 'creative mode'.

      When you are done with the tutorials, read the wiki. If your factories are on a planet, you will also need Power Capacitors. Factories can not be placed on ships. Same for shops, shipyards....and I think I'm forgetting something. Make a homebase station, planets are limited in effectiveness...
