Also keep in mind we're scaling down the size of the ships for the sake of starmade and server so we all don't break the servers we choose to build on. XD
Not starting this myself but I figured it'd be interesting to say the least. Say you had to design a ship or fleet of ships to evacuate Earth or some other planet with our number of population.
Your goal here is to design a ship or ships about to move that population or a chunk of it. Now...
Would like this and you could also use it as a sort of station repair function too using the current BP of the station and it going into a repair mode if the resources are there to do so.
If your station is near the sector boarder this kind of thing tends to happen. If in single player use the move commands to center the station, if that doesn't work increase the sector size.

Yep they need to return at a slower speed but it might be a good idea to scale speed to distance and have them slowly fly in when close. Carrier setup doesn't work on stations yet but it should sometime later.
One thing that'd be nice is if there was a way for a general player to save planet and asteroid things or stuff built on them. :) That'd help when it comes to bases. As for ships and stations if you lose them that's your own fault for not saving them to local every so often.
While I might like the idea of a single huge default server for us all to hop onto I'd like there to still be our own personal servers as well because it gives plenty of choices for where and how to play, also because not everyone can play on a server half a world away from them.
Well yes logic fired weapons would fire in whatever direction they are aimed but it could be handy for mining massive things like planets or whole asteroid sectors at once. :)
Take several copies of a logic miner of your choice and make one of them the flagship, now add in some wireless logic rigging on the main ship to allow it to turn on and off the salvagers on the other ships, now just make them fly in formation with the main ship and turn the salvagers on when...
I've noticed that the game will pause loading for a few seconds at 94% on my end but not crash. Might be the same issue just not as bad as these guys. I'll send up my logs in a few.
Well there is a way to use drone racks as fleet carriers. Make sure all the drones are docked to the given rack they need to be and than launch the rack when you get to where you want the fleet to be. Now you have many fleets of ships ready to deploy at your command. :)
