      Trekkertech Inc. Competition time!

The MKI version is working! It can move in all four directions and will actually change directions when you input another direction whilst moving. The last one didn't do that. It would just keep going in the same direction forever until you stopped it. It does warrant a picture and explanation...

      Trekkertech Inc. Competition time!

Had to scrap my previous walker design, but I learned much. The extra logic was messing it up, and it only worked after I disabled it. In addition to this, the rear legs were one block off. Everyone would agree that was a fatal flaw. So I started on a MKI version. I have the legs completely...

      Rails: Precise Deviation Through Counter-Rotation

Considering the fact it is so unstable, it is probably only going to be used in niche roles, such as logic-aimed guns. Still, it is an interesting way to move in smaller increments. Eventually, I will attempt at making it more stable.

      Rails: Precise Deviation Through Counter-Rotation

I am sure everyone will agree with me when I say that the 45 degrees of movement is simply not small enough for complicated builds. I found a workaround. I had the idea when I realized that although the angle you could chose to move your joints was fixed, speed is variable. So I thought that if...

This is the demonstration platform for you to dissect. Let me know what you think.

When it's done, I'll send you the link to the BP. That way you can be one of the first to test it out. Challenges accepted! Thank you, also, Good luck with your AT-AT.

Here's a sneak peek at what I have been working on. I think HolyCookie will know instantly what it is :) :

The neat thing about that is that if your slow ships are docked to a speedy mothership, then they wouldn't effect the speed of the fleet. Hopefully you can set it up so that your fighters undock during combat, and redock afterwards.

Finally back! Ok, Here is the first update in months: The harbinger has been refit, and a carrier variant made. Links: Harbinger: https://starmadedock.net/content/harbinger-fighter-craft.3084/ C-Class: Harbinger MKIIc EDIT: Please let me know if you want to see the Solomon completed. I have...

      Harbinger MKIIc 1.0

This C-class variant of the Harbinger MKII was made when a major flaw was uncovered in the original design. It was unable to fit comfortably in a modest-sized hangar bay. Our engineers decided to remove the ventral gun, leading to higher speeds, and more importantly, a smaller profile. Of...

Harbinger -Fighter Craft - Harbinger MKII

A bigger, badder Harbinger. Improved stats across the board. Aesthetic redesign using the new(to me) slabs which also helped me increase the volume of the ship for more systems without making it look bad. Advanced frontal armor was added to make the main body less squishy. In addition, the...

I think that if you are going to group large groups of ships together, then you should clamp the max speed of the entire fleet to the slowest undocked ship. This really only applies when fleets are not rendered, or the ships are not in combat. It makes sense for this to be a toggle, for those...

StarMade v0.19556 - New Gear Graphics and Bugfixes

I am pretty stoked when I think about the possibility the fleet system! This means you can build and command large fleets! With a few server optimizations it will be awesome. This also provides the chance to answer the age old question as to whether large ships, or fighter squadrons, are better.

      Starmadian's Logic Showcase Thread

Definitely watching this. As for a cartridge idea: Tetris. You know you want to. Also, it would be cool if you made that game where you have planets, and you send ships to conquer other planets. I wish I remembered enough to give you the name. One neat trick I noticed when Lone_Puppy was...

      Gravity doesn't work

I agree. In the meantime, the only workaround I can think of is docking a core to the center of the ship's dimensions, replacing the existing gravity blocks with ones docked to the new entity, and making sure the dimensions of both entities are roughly the same. Not the best solution though. Too...

      Gravity doesn't work

Ok, I have already written out an explanation on an old thread, so Ill link it to you: Some weird problem I've been having with gravity Basically, If your core is offset, then the game will generate a gravity field using the ship's dimensions, but the system does not take into account the fact...

      Gravity doesn't work

Is the main core in the cockpit? I checked the link, but the pictures make it unclear. If so, I can offer an explanation.

... XD I am blind. Fair enough then. Kind of surprised that just flew over all of our heads. If someone noticed, then the situation would have been resolved long ago.

      Request for advice

Dr. Whammy, Ok, HolyCookie had come up with a solution to the problem your facing with your station. The reason the game is running constant collision checks is because it assumes that anything docked to a powered rail is moving. Basically common knowledge. However, not everyone knows that you...

For the life of me, I can not find the error in this circuit...

Glad I could help. Your second solution should work well with lights, but keep in mind that the glitch is still there, it just happens too fast to see it. Here, let me link you to a thread that should help you with instant pulses, should you need it in the future...
