My submission for the community build initiative mobile factory/refinery competition. Honestly this isn't my best work as I kind of burn't out near the end but I hope its at least worth an honorable mention. Has little bits of lore on display modules all over the place so worth looking around.
So this was made for a competition but according to the organisers all that spawns is a bugged out core, fortunately they were able to use the on-server BP but no idea how to fix it here. All attempts to get the BP from the server to my PC (and then to upload here) seem to result in the same...
For me it was just post rails and weapons 2.0, nothing was very well balanced but we had so much player made tech from x/z-drives to ion layering, spectre armor, enemy detectors, shield re-charge delay bi-passers. And some servers were still alive too even if a lot of the actual warfrare was...
Been a while, found an old size chart of community builds and it brought back a lot of memories, we all really made some cool things back in the day. Cheers Schema, I hope Starmade lasts long into the future.
So I know I'm not around much but I still hold a torch for this game, just thought I should mention that because I know theres a lot of negativity these days. You keep doing you Schema.
Just had the build spark suddenly come back, literally built this thing in a single day to shake off the rust so appologies if its not up to my old level of quality. Its got some nice rail antenas with an in-ship toggle and a super simple airlock that I'm honestly not proud of. Anyway please...
Gonna back this guy up, flawed as new power may be the ability to put stabilizers on multiple sides at a closer distance was a huge improvement and a step in the right direction.
