The ping you describe would be pretty sweet.
I know derelect ships and general exploration was talked about a while ago. Having a ping system would make the exploration part very mysterious.
The core Diamond overlay needs to be changed. Currently having the diamond gives away the one point in a ship that needs protection. This is a big problem for big ships. Such ships with low turning speeds are easy pray to stacked laser canons that can cut through hulls like butter. Small ships...
the JP in the error name looks familliar but i don\'t know if it\'s the same bug.
After updating i couldn\'t start the game. This error wold pop up after 100% load time. The only way around it was to reset the universe.
Maybe give that a try for singleplayer.
I noticed this bug too. I have these small ships with no weapons that is set to \"No\" for use in waves but they\'ll pop up anywys for any level group when going against waves.
It's a station. Funny thing is the bug also occured on a planet. Good thing is that was a couple updates ago so hopefully it was fixed. Bad news one of the updates needed a world reset so no more spcae station inside a planet
I think untill the AI gets an update any ship will fight like your grandpa, who is on valium.
As for ship designs, anything with lasers can be good especially if it's small and fast. Rockets are good too but i find that rocket ships will take much longer to shoot the first shot than laser...
Just buy it or make it and then place it.
For planets you can use the landing strip( the name might of changed) or docking module. Be careful with docking module though. I haven't checked to see if it was fixed but there was a pretty nasty bug that caused whatever you were docked to spaz out.
Thanksgiving break just ended and i'm really happy i got to test a little bit.
As cool as lighting and space suits are i'm most excited about critters! Hopefully that means new AI!
