      Same thing happened to me a while back, but I didn't find the window. I was able to fix it by deleting (or renaming) the file "windowPositionAndSizeConfig.tag". The game will recreate the file, though all windows will be returned to default positions.

      Check that all resolutions (the 128 and 64 directories) of the texture pack match, i.e. have the same texture layouts. Or just remove the directories for resolutions other than the one you've set, while you're working on the textures.
