only about 3 days a few hours in the evening while watching stuff on youtube but i had the design for the general shape and the salvage system in my head for a lot longer.

Hi! This is the mining ship Serapis. a medium sized asteroid eater while equipped with 3 turrets (2 light missile and 1 light beam) the best defensive action would be to run (50% Overdrive and 1.6 thrust/mass ration help a little bit with that, if that is not working there is still one...

Hi! I was working on a new turret collection and just noticed that my last one was exactly one year old... so yeah :) Dolphin Transport also did a new youtube thing:

A year ago i uploaded a first Collection of Turrets, this is a new one: There are some very old turrets, some very new turrets, maybe you find something that interest you, maybe you have some tips for me... The "Exhibit" is docked to a small tugboat/transport ("Dolphin") to make it move.

after building a few turrets for a bigger ship and having an idea for a small and sleek frigate stuck in my head, this was a very quick but satisfying build: 4 gun turrets, 4 beam turrets, 6 ams turrets compact interior

i did some testing myself recently and came to the same conclusion.

Took a pause from the big ship, couldn't get the idea of a smaller frigate out of my head. same style as the other small ship before Download: Proteus Frigate

I have seen people using Sketchfab, but i completely missed this awesome thread Added support for Sketchfab .... solved the light rod issues

you can upload the zip'ed folder of the 3D exported model, it needed a little playing around after that (was my first try with that)

Test:

small engine redesign to get the thruster lighting from the last patch minor interior change (one door moved back to better work with logic)

small update: still a long way to go
