      Without the weapons update i am not going to fret too much about balance, right now it is bad though (just try charging a jump drive). In my eyes this "exploit" could be the first step into a learning curve for new players - like the dimensional power lines from the past. There are enough...

      my own probably stupid idea after reading this: ...have (non allied) shield repel each other (unshielded fighters, torpedos or extruding unshielded "rams" could still penetrate under high risk) probably wont happen though, so just rambling

      No idea if this thread is anywhere near "alive"... but whatever Rebalance the jumpdrive - it is overly power hungry, slow and tedious - every reasonable ship i tried so far needed the jump power efficiency chamber lvl3 to not go over 100%. -> Make the auto charge standard and lower the power costs.

      Other things I have noticed since Power 2.0

      There is probably still a lot of balance to do - for instance charging the jump drive seems extremely power hungry and slow (and the jump autocharge should be standard imo).

      After more than half a year of not doing anything here... The bigger ship in the background actually has some systems (new power... still think the worm is ugly) Now the wait begins for the weapon update...
