The "launcher ship" has no pickup points on it at all. There is only one attached the the pickup rail on the primary ship, which does it's job perfectly...it grabs the little torpedo and places it directly on the pickup rail it is next to. But then...it just sits there...
Are you referring to pickup points? If so, they will grab any rail docker within three meters of themselves and deposit that rail docker onto the rail that the pickup point is touching.
Here is an issue I have been having that I hope someone here could assist with:
I have a primary ship and a smaller "loader" ship. When the loader ship docks to the primary it shoots docked torpedoes through open space into the primaries bay which get caught by the pickup point, get deposited...
I figured it out in under five minutes. I'd venture a guess the rest of the current player base, or least a substantial majority, did the same. I won't argue that in game documentation wouldn't be convenient, but any who cannot (or will not) fathom the basics in an hour or two in the year 2016...
You're likely overcomplicating the issue. If there's a problem, it's likely lack of I.Q., and/or the proclivity of the "gimmie gimmie, I want it now" generation(s) to live up to that title.
The entire game relies on "unneeded" complexity in order to attract players with a very specific mindset. Do you not believe Schema to be perfectly capable of reducing all systems to the lowest common denominator to appease the CoD crowd? Within the complexity lies the challenge, else you have...
Yes, it is a chain reaction that slowly takes out chunks of the reactor over a couple minute time span. The explosions either have a low damage rate or a small radius, as they don't cause massive damage to blocks around them, but they DO cause damage. The amount of damage increases as the size...
Only the fools who buried them inside their ships, knowing full well the consequence, encountered this issue...which of course has led to the current changes. I always mounted mine outside the ship.
That would be true, to a small extent at least, if they stayed on, lol =)
That would only...
I ran into this same exact issue with a large logic activated and controlled weapons barrel I had been working on. All the logic blocks were still there but the connections had mirrored themselves as if using a symmetry plane, lol
My tests were only for the active regeneration rate, so perhaps this is where our results differ. Also, I am not dividing the total amount of power generated by the total amount of blocks. One of those tests was performed to find at what number adding additional blocks initiated a decline in...
After some quick and sloppy testing, a few quick facts for those who haven't done their own:
(1) The new power blocks stack bonuses the same as capacitors, not reactors, so group them all together up to the soft cap, not in line patterns.
(2) There is a soft cap, it seems to be 289 power per...
Could someone tell me if AMCs with explosive effect is still limited to the 10% "cap"? Initially, I'd heard it was a bug, but not sure if it were ever addressed or.....
THanks!

I have an emergency shield generator docked to my miner. The generator has it's own 2.03 million power generation and about 5.5 million in capacity. It has 181,000 shield regen and 190,000 shield capacity.
As one might imagine, it draws about 181,000 power when not active and just under 2...
Testing using two storage clocks, with or/act. attached, pulling from each other (deactivate one or the other of course so they don't pull at the same time) resulted in great results for the first few times, and flaky to no results after a couple minutes
I've read a bunch of threads stating it is broken...not broken...etc.... There's a bug tracker but the last post on that is from Schema and it states it is "resolved" yet it seems to be not resolved when I test it.
So just looking for some type of confirmation...
Thanks!
Thanks Cyber, I'll track down that file locally and see if the server admins will release at least that particular setting. Boy do I hate trying to design systems without knowing the proper variables, lol!
