    Yea, thats actually how i imagined doing it myself. We have activation state textures already, if the activated state was considered animated we could just use 4 frames like we do now for ie; power tanks. Capsule contents could be overlayed using the same resource injection sheet we use for ores.

    Thats probably a buttload of (potentially not possible) work for a handful of blocks... who knows. I'll make a note.

    Also, it's normal dirt. Dirt dirt.
    Or, just have the lights cycling all the time regardless of inserted material or lack thereof, and the overlay just being... a regular overlay.

    Tonight / tomorrow probably. They're done, it's simply a case of putting them in the next update / hotfix.

    I'd try to conceal my happiness but I'm truly giddy like a schoolgirl when it comes to new textures. Fun, fun! :D

    It might be sad, but as soon as I saw that the leek spin song started playing in my head. Needless to say I've spent a lot of time listening to that cracked out on lack of sleep. haha Great work though kupu, as always. =)

    Respectfully, no. Do feel free to edit and mod any of the shipped art assets in the game, but unless they are shipped they would still be considered personal works. Sorry to be such spoil sport :(. But as i've explained in the thread previously, they are potentially required for future works and i'd like to keep them relatively private or watermarked.

    Are we eventuallygoing to see custom build icons supported? Or are they already supported (like the custom texture) and did I just not see it? I'm not very good with textures, so I might not have seen it if it was supported.

    I'll let you know when i have files kicking around that can be used freely.

    You can bake your own icon sets using TAB+ f9. This brings up a viewer for every block in the game. Pressing W, S Left D, Right D, will navigate the block lists, mouse directions will orbit the mini blocks. Pressing Enter will 'bake' a new set of icons as you see them displayed.
    Tricky to explain, go in game and press TAB + F9, it will become more clear :)

    Hopefully, if not already, we can send the icon files with the t007 file on player loading. I'll talk to Schema about it.

    So if you want to make a custom item (like shards), you select/create a texture for it and then you have got a build icon for that item?

    I'm sorry for being the only nay-sayer here, but the first thing I thought of when I saw the micro assembler was "Is that a broken factory or something?" because it's honestly hard to tell if the little robotic arms were arms or a bunch of broken scrap.

    I agree partly, it crossed my mind how legible it would be in-game but moved onto new textures so i could sleep on it.

    Hm, would straightening them make a difference? Would removing them completely? If they were both level and the same size?
    I might play around with it some more.
