Where's your master ship builder medal? You clearly are the best ship builder that submits ships... You put dalmont to absolute shame in terms of looks and stats :).
    Thank you.

devs apparently have some insanely high standards. Theres about a dozen other shipwrights that deserve that medal too. :)

    Greetings Once again, Valued Consumer!

Crimson-Artist here for something rather special.

A stroke of luck has allowed us to turn a unfortunate circumstance into a positive one.

Using data gathered from one of our probes we've manage to upgrade some of our existing ships while also receiving the plans for something big.

Now we've worked our magic on it to make more powerful than the original in every way so please say hello to

    The Leviathan!

    Leviathan Class Frigate

Interior and more exterior Pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/B4bRh#0

    Mass: 13,194.3
    L/H/W: 194m/38m/123m
    Power: 7,343,262 Regen: 547,702.1 e/sec
    Thrust: 13,921.9
    Shields: 672,460 Regen: 28,633 s/sec
    Arsenal: 17 Apocalypse-grade Shredder Arrays (75,240 DPS-Punch-Through), 2 Adonis Cannons (Lock On; Dam: 99,656.8-Punch-Through), 8 Target-Lock Missiles (Lock On; Dam: 4,125-Explosion), 4 Cutter Beams (Dam: 810-Explosion), 2 Photon Beams (Dam: 2,055-Piercing), 4 Outage Cannons (Dumb Missile; Dam: 3,194.1-EMP), 23 Spread Arrays (47,035 DPS-Stop)
Turrets: 9 Envy Turrets, 9 Gluttony Turrets
Extras: Sub-Warp Drive (Overdrive 100%), Propeller Cruse Control, Shield Hardeners (Ion 100%), Plex Storage Chests
    Price: 31,825,078 Credits

This Horrifyingly Powerful ship originally popped up at the edges of our sensor range. However some foresight has allowed us to copy the initial design before the opportunity vanished. After some extensive time we've made heavy modifications and installed new systems that make the original look downright minuscule by comparison.

Most of the archaic and obsolete systems of the original have been thrown out and replaced with highly optimized and streamlined versions. A staggering array of weapons have been installed from the intensely powerful Adonis Cannons to the Apocalypse-grade Shredder arrays punching massive holes into our ballistic test blocks. New sub-systems have also been installed like Shield Hardeners and Sub-Warp Drives. Our patented Propeller Cruse Control has also been put in. Aside from the core ship, all Turrets have been upgraded.

We've also made massive upgrades to the other SIN series ships

    [New Refits]
    Fighter-Amon: Next Generation: Version 2.0001
    Bomber-Mammon: Next Generation: Version 2.0001
    Corvette-Beelzebub: Next Generation: Version 2.0001

Thats all for now but We also have something special to announce!

    Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'vvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    [TRANSMISSION TERMINATED]

    ***

    [REESTABLISHING CONNECTION]

    Ahoy Mateys!

Thought we were dead ey? Well we ain't!

    It's me!,
Despot. Here again to sell yah scoundrels some new gear

Lets git started! First we got a new bomb throw'in beauty!

    The Weatherman

    Weatherman Class Ransacker

Job: Blow stuff up, Blow Stuff up, Forecast more stuff being blown up
    Mass: 184.2
    L/H/W: 31m/17m/29m
    Power Regen: 7,196.8 e/sec
    Thrust: 170.9
    Shields: 1,340 Regen: 121 s/sec
Weapons: 4 WKC Arrays (180 DPS), 2 Murder-Lock Missile Batteries (Lock on; Dam: 2250), Genocide Gun (Lock on; Dam 4,547.7)
    Turrets: 1 Blackjack V-3 Turret
    Cost: 2,181,174 Credits

We got to think'in. We really didn't have anything that really makes things go boom! So we got to work making the most terrifying bomber you've ever run into. And thus the Weatherman was Born. The weather is always stormy with a good chance not living with the Weatherman around!

The Weatherman is the professor of making things into a smoldering crater so listen up kiddies! 2 high powered Murder-lock missiles will turn anything that isn't behind solid shielding into dust while Weakling Killer Cannons pepper targets with death bullets. We also added the mother of all bombs. The Genocide Gun fires a single smart round that will utterly Annihilate anything thats stupid enough to ram into it.

And now another Raider. Finally another one ey?

    Khmer Class Raider

Job: Big, Bad, and Buff, In that order
    Mass: 288.6
    L/H/W: 38m/12m/35m
    Power Regen: 9,009.6 e/ec
    Thrust: 252.7
    Shields: 3,381 Regen: 242 s/sec
Weapons: 10 WKC (200 DPS), 4 Machete Beams (Dam: 180-Explosion), 2 Fatman Cannons (320 DPS)
    Turrets: 2 Blackjack V-3, 1 Molotov Turret
    Cost: 3,209,365 Credits

Even the Regulator with all its upgrades starts to feel really stale. So we made a new Raider class ship. The Khmer is heavier and even badder then the Regulator.

We threw just about everything into this one. A ridiculous amount of weakling killer cannons punctuates and just plain punctures targets. Quad Machete beams will burns holes through just about anything that need burn'in. With an added bonus we've also upgraded it with explosive plasma, more explosions make everything better. We also got as new weapon, The Fatman Cannon, Based on the Rail Cannon Tech of those Crimson Corp fools it packs a huge punch, like 2 fists to a glass jaw. To round things out we installed some Blackjack Turrets as well as our new Heavy Cannon Turret, the Molotov Turret.

Hows about some Turrets? We got a new More powerful one

    Molotov Class Turret

Download is for a 4 Pack
    Job: Murderize, plain and simple
    Mass: 8.5
    L/H/W: 7m/3m/7m
    Power Regen: 618.7 e/sec
    Thrust: 0
    Shields: 163 Regen: 5 s/sec
Weapons: Devastator Cannon (Dumb Missile; Dam: 1500- Punch Through)
Cost: 95,651 Credits (408,454 credits for the 4 pack)

The Blackjack seems to small now with this! The Molotov Turret was made to just plain obliterate things with its single but powerful cannon. Tremble in fear kids, its come'in to get yah!

The Molotov uses a brand new weapon. The Devastator Cannon. In a way a more toned down and stupider version (shell wise anyways) of the Genocide gun. Armor Piercing tech has been added so when it hits it tears right through everything not just the top layer.

Take heed. We've also upgraded the Regulator and the Jacobin for yah. They can take on them Crimson Ships any day now!

    Hahahahaha

Now go Reap some Terror Out there!

    Despot Out

    Joyce
    *shouts something inaudible*

    Crimson-Artist
"Our present situation has become critical and I can't have 2 people running around trying to blow up this company"

    "..."
*moves closer to Joyce to see if shes alright*
*squats down to get a closer look*

    Helga
*walks up to Rothchild while looking at Joyce*
"What do you think she was saying?"

    Rothchild
    *Gets back up*
    *Turns to Helga*

    "...You're not him..."

On the ship building level, I would put you below Dalmont... but you're still pretty damn high on that list. Being just below Dalmont is not something to be ashamed of. You make really impressive small to medium ships, and the turrets have given me a few ideas. It's just that Dalmont makes even bigger ones and still does detail on them.

As for your art, I will agree that that image is indeed epic, and your other drawings are pretty good too. Would have been nice if Carmine moved around a bit between images. Seemed weird when suddenly she looks embarrassed over something that happened in the amount of time between posts, yet she's still holding her arm up. Small complaint really.

H'mmm. Earth Authority has AIs. I wonder if I should draw one to present my ship thread.

thank you for the kind words. :)

the reason most of my ships are small is cuz 1. I've always been a fighter pilot kind of guy, Big ships are cool but the universe seems so much bigger and awe inspiring in a small one man ship. 2. I can churn out small ships faster than i do the big ones. Dalmont is a God of shipbuilding and I give him a ridiculous amount of respect. But I have ADD and sitting down to make a massive ship that could take days or weeks to make just requires more concentration then making a smaller ship. I still try, I need a massive fleet after all :).

ever play anime inspired games? ever notice how characters tend to maintain the same pose but their expressions change? same thing with Carmine. I would have loved to make her more animated but I just didn't feel like spending massive amount of time to make a whole new pic of her or spend hours editing the existing one. It was faster to just change her expression. I'll try to stay away from that in the future but when patients is running short I can't say that its out of the question.

and yes more lovely AIs around here would be great! :)

    No problem, they're well deserved.

Ah. I guess I like to be bigger and awe inspiring. I do like me some titans.

I can understand a short attention span. I sometimes switch between one of the myriad things I could be or need to be doing, including; drawing, Starmade, KSP, working on my remote control plane, RPing on the internet, and other stuff.

And big fleets are awesome. Especially when individual ships look good. Which reminds me, I need to finish my hospital ship, design a destroyer, and build some fleet auxhiliaries.

I can't say I have played them, but I think I know what you mean. I heard that because of time constraints and such, anime artists often have to take shortcuts like having a character's mouth move but not their jaw, and holding a pose for a while.

I don't mind the repeated use of an image, it just would have been a little less jarring when only a part of it changed if she'd been in a more natural pose. Though, I suppose, an AI probably wouldn't get tired of holding up its arms.
and yes more lovely AIs around here would be great! :)
Shipboard AIs are quite commonly female, aren't they? Well, if it's traditional, may as well keep it. EA AIs tend to be anthros to avoid the Uncanny Valley or being mistaken for biological people if they come in hologram form. I wonder what she should look like...

I know I've been a bit quiet but heres the reason why

Just finished this epic pic that commemorates the end of season 1 of the campaign
After seeing this if I had a company that makes animation I would totally hire you right now...[DOUBLEPOST=1410302585,1410302364][/DOUBLEPOST]

I have ADHD similar to ADD and I have the same problem, I have this 400m ship in my singleplayer and its still not done yet :(. It was just taking to long and I got bored of working on it so I quit the project.

    Hello Once more, Valued Consumer!

The Crimson-Artist here with a boat load of new products

Schemadyne has finally come through! A faster method of travel is now possible with Rift Shifter Technology.

By Modifying our normal Thruster systems with it we created the "Warp Drive!"

Ships and structures are now able to momentarily breach the barriers between Universes and pass through the "Rift" to arrive at their destination much faster

Consequently A new age of exploration and trade is upon us.

Now we here at Crimson Corp like to be at the forefront of new innovations so we have several new ships and new refits to accommodate you

First is a Special type of ship we like to call a "Zipcraft". Meaning that its designed solely to get you from here to there with fast warps

    Augury Class Zipcraft

    More Pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/Y61G9#0

Role: Jump Augmenter, SPV transport, Jump Charger
    Generation: IV
    Mass: 619.8
    L/H/W: 50m/ 20m/41m
    Power: 325,630.8 Regen: 67,641.6 e/sec
    Thrust: 203.8
    Shields: 7,245 Regen: 170 s/sec
Extra: Warp Drive (1534/306 modules), Radar Jammer, 3 Storage Chests
    Docks: 1 Standardized SPV dock
    Turrets: 1 Cerberus Turret MK-II
    Price: 5,472,201 Credits

With Schemadyne's release of Rift Shifter Tech a new age of exploration has begun. After extensive tests we've determined that while convenient Warp drives require copious amounts of energy to charge. A small ship could take up to half a minute to make just 1 jump so our engineers got to work developing a solution. Enter the Augury! A Jump Augmenter capable of turning small ships into long distance vessels.

While minimal, The Augury does have thrusters however it is not advised that you rely on these to move around. A vast majority of the Augury's mass is devoted to the Warp Drive. Nearly 5 times as many modules as necessary were installed to make the fastest charge possible. A new High Powered Reactor had to be installed just handle the charge demand. While primarily as a Jump Augmenter, ships can also choose to take advantage of the Augury's High energy load to charge their own Warp Drives. As for defensive systems a single Cerberus Turret was added and a Radar Jammer.

Now we have the Successor to our previous Trade Vessel, the Armadillo.

    I give you the Hephaestus

    Hephaestus Class Freighter

    More Pictures here http://imgur.com/a/Y61G9#0

    Role: Freighter, Small Scale Tugboat
    Generation: III
    Mass: 852.4
    Power: 202,454 Regen: 58,182 e/sec
    L/H/W: 58m/ 29m/29m
    Thrust: 858
    Shields: 14,181 Regen: 1,072 s/sec
Arsenal: 4 Thumper Arrays (190 DPS), 2 Durga Cannons (Dumb Missile; Dam: 750)
Extra: Beam Tow, Sub-Warp Drive, 12 Storage Chests, Warp Drive (605/427 Modules)
    Docks: 2 Standardized SPV Docks
    Price: 3,351,379 Credits

When the popular, Armadillo came up for refurbishment it unfortunately did not meet our new higher standards for ship building. Instead of spending an exorbitant amount of time refitting it we decided to it would be better to design a successor. Enter the Hephaestus, Bigger and more powerful in every way to its predecessor it was developed to take advantage of the our new Ready Packs.

Numerous attempts at designing the Armadillo's successor had failed. Mostly due to the Standardizing of our Docking Spaces. After some time we've revised some of our docking sizes but chose to maintain our SPV sizes as it has proven to be extremely versatile. 4 new Thumper Arrays have been installed,
slow firing but none the less powerful rounds can slice through shields with ease while twin Durga Cannons make up the finishing blows. Defensive Systems include quad EMP burst arrays to disable attackers and a Radar jammer to sneak through hostile territory. A Beam tow has been installed to bring in Freight and any other goods you might find.

and Finally we're proud to unveil a new way for our customer to get supplies and equipment.

    Behold, Ready Packs

"So far they've got the basic infrastructure up"
"There is a bit unexpected complication with the resource transportation so for now we've set up a basic factory system and are currently salvaging materials in-universe"

    Efram
    "Uhh..."
    "Umm"

    Juanita
    *Interrupts*

*Gets kicked in the butt from behind by Juanita*

    Juanita
"Pardon me, Sir but was that necessary?"
"All she was trying to do was save you?"
"You of all people know what this job means to her, Right"

    Crimson-Artist
    "Juanita, Correct?"
"Circumstances would't allow me to keep her here"
"Theres too much at stake at the moment"

    Juanita
"Aren't you even marginally worried about her?"
"She once told me that she has no home to go back too."
"That this place was her home"

    Crimson-Artist
"She's very resourceful, she'll be fine"

    Juanita
    *Worried*
    "But Sir, I..."

    Crimson-Artist
    *Interrupts*
"Besides I wouldn't worry about her"
    "We have more pressing matters"
    *Turns to Efram*
"Has the Satellite Shipyard At least Finished Carmine's Proxy Core?"

    Efram
    *Still rubbing his bottom*
"You coulda just asked her yourself"

"More Work is needed but I have rudimentary control over the shipyards systems"

    Crimson-Artist
    "And your connection?"

    Carmine
"Well, MF-747666 is a rather large Omniverse hub."
"I'm still not use to bouncing off G-Plus Comm buoys"
"They can get very congested but my connection to the Satellite Shipyards is holding"
"I've even manage to broadcast your last few feeds"
    "They have been well received"

    Crimson-Artist
    "Good"
    *Turns to Efram*
"If Carmine needs anything, I expect you to get it to her"
    "Understood?"

    Efram
    "Right"

    Juanita
    "Of course"
    *bows*

    Crimson-Artist
    "Lovely"
    "As you were"
    *Walks off*

    Efram
    *Sees the Crimson-Artist walk off*
    *Folds his arms*
    *Turns to Carmine*

"Geez, was he always this creepy?
"showing up outta nowhere and demanding reports?"

    Carmine
    *Looks away*
    "..."
    "...I'm just glad hes back"

    Efram
"...Thank you for avoiding my question"
    "Ok, back to being "better-than-Joyce"
*Sits in his chair at his station*
*Receives a message from Engineering on his Fabricator*
    *Reads the Message*
    *Rolls his eyes*

    "Oh, Boy"
"Carmine, I'm gonna need some help"
"Monty needs to know how Rift Shifter Tech works again"
"He having trouble modding our thruster systems with it"

    Carmine
    *Smiles*
"I'll try my best to go slow this time"

    Juanita
*looks aside as if in thought*
    "Carmine"
"Before you do that May I ask a favor?"

    Carmine
    "Yes, Juanita?"

    Juanita
"What would make the Crimson-Artist Happy?"

    Thank you.

devs apparently have some insanely high standards. Theres about a dozen other shipwrights that deserve that medal too. :)
I'm pretty sure that it's all related to the community content section. Meaning that you need probably two or more ships to be on the front page for some time in order to get a medal.

Side note: You continuously impress me with your ships. Give the man a badge @DukeofRealms , seriously.

    seriously, thank you.

is that how the system works? I thought that that approval period after u submit a ship was how they judged wether or not some one got that medal since they had to review that entry

Well, I just assume that's how it works. Considering that all people with medals have one or more ships on the popular page.
