Hint Logic blocks and tons of docked entities. :PI've toyed with including a cargo ship to. I'm keen to see how your Pinata's work.
My ship is simply physical blocks as cargo.

Would be cool to see it in action! Can you make videos?Well my splitter is likely to be a big pain in the *** to get done since it is a cluster ship and more like 5 rods of 2 ships each with many sub docked ships, turrets, chaff, and other things. >_> The Cargo ship is basically just ejecting cargo pods out to keep the player going after more loot clouds.
Hey Ho,
i´d like to bring up my entry for the Competition as well.
All info´s on ContentPage

Awesome entries guys. Cant wait to test them out!All right. All ships are in their final configuration (I think) and so here are the five packaged into a single zip file.
All of these ships are currently being used as pirates on the Freaks'R Us server. The Marauder was built just before this competition was announced. (As was the Corsair, which was sadly overweight.) All the others were designed both to fit with this competition and to bolster the variety of the pirates on my server. As such they have all been repeatedly combat tested versus players. I am happy to report frequent player deaths and ignominious retreats. The mandate I got from my server admin when building these was to make them as nasty as I could make pirates. I may not win from a looks and RP standpoint, but from a sheer combat effectiveness point of view, others might come close or even match, but I seriously doubt they could surpass.
Thats too bad! You gotta tell your teachers to stop cause you have a competition to win :pI don't think I'm going get my last two ships in for this, dang teachers keep dumping craptons of work on me. >_>
Very nice designs! And the docked entity doesnt count as its own ship so you're good there. This is my submission for the ZimmTech: Pirate Fleet Competition.

It contains 5 different ships. I'm new to this, so I hope they are worthy of a look in. I must say, this competition has forced me to go through a rapid learning growth.
I thought I was going to be in a bit of a bind with my entry with only 4 ships built.
Well, until yesterday I only had 4 ships. Yesterday I built the Trixnos which is a really light weight fighter that works better in a swarm than on its own. I've had this design in mind for a while, but my limited knowledge of weapons and well ship building held me back a bit.
Sadly due to time, my pirate freighter (the Erox Runner) is not as polished as I would like.
Oh something I forgot to ask about, my freighter has an attached cargo pod that is docked. With the pod technically being a ship, will this count as a ship even though it's a docked entity of the freighter? Although the Freighter is less polished, it is fully operational. I also designed this ship to be spawned with different cargo pods to be a reward for the player who manages to win a battle against it. So, my original intention was to have many different cargos and pod configurations/quantities to be spawned along 1 or 2 of my other smaller ships acting as escort. The combined Mass of the Ship and Pod is under 1000, only just.
When building my pirate ships, most of them are deliberately modified versions of the Trading Guild (TG) ships I've been building first. Ideally on my server I want TG & Pirate ships spawned for the appropriate faction only.
I've worked the TG copied Pirate ships on the premise they are modified stolen ships or made using stolen blueprints as a reference with added embellishments or added/altered features. The Pirate and TG counterparts may look similar, but may contain different weapons, defences and technologies. I'm also working on very different designs of comparable class or function, such as the freighter. My TG freighter is considerably different to the Pirate one in this collection. I also have other Pirate freighters, escort class, destroyer class, battle cruiser and fighter designs, which have only made it to the drawing board or are still in my head and are yet to be built.
My main inspiration for my designs of the TG ships are the existing Isanth’s and the StarMadeShip15 from the promo video made by SkyLord Luke.
Here are my 5 entry designs.
1) Nimda Razor
A light weight with only rapid firing cannons and agile manoeuvrability for hit and run attacks.
Using a stolen TG Skimmer design, a modified slicing and dicing machine.
2) Striker
More of a drop ship that can be used to quickly get personal or smuggle small items in and out of a raid, or defend one of the larger Pirate ships, such as a cargo hauler, or prized catch.
A modified version of the TG Small Fighter.
3) Byron Raider
A long range ship with a sizeable interior for smuggling various wares and gears.
A modified version of the TG Fighter that is also used as a long range patrol ship.
4) Erox Runner
As in cargo runner, this ship is a cargo hauler used to ferry begotten goods and plunder. Always on the move, it's often found hauling a stolen cargo pod with various loot inside. However, if attacked this ship will defend itself. If piloted by a player you can dump its cargo if the battle is a losing one.
5) Trixnos Fighter
A small, fast, light-weight fighter for quick and dirty operations. Missions must be chosen wisely, with its tight fragile frame easily penetrated with rapid pounding and blasts of exuberance. Much like its namesake, a woman of ill-repute who provides service in the Dextrous House of Pleasure on neutral Delta Trading Station X35-DTS.
Here is a chart with the specs for each ship.
Here's a crazy mess of prototype ships.
[DOUBLEPOST=1444903907,1444903075][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh by the way, logic and design built from scratch. The Erox being the most challenging.
Disco pirates? :p Haha pretty sweet man! Here's the 3 ships I got, I'll get the other 2 in when able but right now these guys are just flavor and a little funny thing to show off. http://starmadedock.net/content/zimmtech-piratefleet-loot-pinatas.3515/
Oh, another thing I forgot to mention. If you spawn the Erox Runner to play with, it's cruise control will kick in. Well it should, since that's the way I designed it. I wanted it to always be moving forward, unless it's in a battle. You can board it easy enough if you dock with the pod and work your way from the pod to the ship. There is a activation block to the right of the pilot seat that will turn off cruise control, or you can enter the core and use option 5 on the hotbar. Below is a list of the Erox hotbar options. I haven't had time to polish all the controls, but when I do this list might change/grow with features/options.This is my submission for the ZimmTech: Pirate Fleet Competition.

Oh yeah, the Trixnos has this annoying habit of chucking you out into space when you exit the core. I suggest wearing your helmet.Oh, another thing I forgot to mention.
