Allow me to present the Celestric Arthropod.
This is my re-make of the smallest ship in
Bustie's Fleet Submission
originally created by
bustie
I checked out the aforementioned StarMade creation in early August, and thought that it was a very nice, imaginative sci-fi design. I wanted to see how would it look like and perform in my own hull / interior / systems building style. I spawned a core next to the original ship, and re-built it from scratch, frequently taking glimpses to match some of its exterior characteristics as close as possible, while significantly changing other details. I worked on it for a total of about 10 days, and in the end, several aspects of the ship were improved.
NOTE: the "Celestric" part in the name is a combination of "celestial" and "electric", while the "Arthropod" part was chosen simply because the ship reminded me of some alien sea arthropod.

- Slightly cleaner construction;
- The non-destructive systems were changed to a decent rapid-fire cannon systems, plus two comparatively powerful lock-on missile systems;
- It's somewhat larger and heavier, but has the same thrust-mass ratio;
- It has a 50% overdrive system and a top speed of 266 m/s;
- It has a smaller backup jumpdrive unit besides the fast-charging large unit;
- Higher PowCap, PowRegen, ShieldCap and ShieldRegen values;
- More detailed pilot room and bedroom;
- There's a computer room for the second pilot;
- Somewhat more complex electric discharge animations.
