Following up on our last release, Space Transportation Research-Labs is proud to present the next in their line of Arcade Games, Air Strike. With added gameplay and difficulty, Air Strike is far beyond our last game with added features like a timer, score count, and an actual challenge. This enclosed unit can be docked to ships or stations to give your crew something to occupy themselves in the lonely void of space.

    HOW TO PLAY:
    1. Press the button above the screen to start the game.
    2. Move the ship left and right by Pressing the LEFT and RIGHT buttons
    3. Align your red ship at the bottom of the screen with the moving bombers overhead. Press the SHOOT button to shoot.
-A red light will flash when a ship is hit.
-The red blocks stop your shots.
    4. Shoot 10 ships before the time runs out.
-Press the start button above the screen to restart the game.

Thanks! I might do the same when I get around to finishing stations.
For a video game made with Starmade's display modules, this is quite good!

Though, enemy ships moving on a different grid than the player is a bit icky (enemies move two player-width spaces at a time). You can still get the correct timing when firing, but it doesn't come easy.

Also, the intro screen could also use a line informing you that the red light blinks when you shoot an enemy. I thought it was a warning at first, and not positive feedback.

Again, great game! I hope to see more projects like this sometime. =)

Thank you for the constructive criticism! That's a good point about the red light. Also, the ships move 2 spaces at a time to make them faster (and save room inside the case, it wouldn't fit otherwise)
Dammit Wilavid you made another one :D :D :D

As always another sweet build can get abit ify with the controls not picking up the movements properly sometimes other than that another sweet little minigame

tottally gonna build an arcade and put all your games in their

Thanks! It seems like using area triggers can be a bit tricky to use as controls. I'll have to keep that in mind for any future projects.
