Working on a new build for an effective corvette. - Something with enough Flak to take down a few squadrons of fighters. Just finished the upper half of the aft section and loaded it with turrets. About 10% done.

So, compared to the behemoths you all build the Leviathan is absolutely tiny. Depending on how you classify ships, it\'s anything from a frigate to a battlecruiser. Myself, I count it as a battlecruiser as I follow Blitzwing\'s guide. Anyways, here she is.

    Mass: 1185

    79m x 18m x 26m

    Thrust: 456

Shields: 4007 regen per second with a 141k pool

Power is 20k with 87k regen per second

Dual AMC cannons do 500 dmg each, and dual SD BB arrays do 418 dmg with 28 block radius.

I\'ve been working hard on this baby ever since last night. It\'s the U.S.S. Enterprise-J. So far I\'ve got most of the exterior and some of the interior done. She\'s not much to look at now, but I figured I\'d post my progress.

I know she\'s not supposed to have turrets like that, but I needed more than just a somewhat powerful forward AMC.

This ship is still -far- from finished, she will eventually be a mega-carrier. What you see pictured at the link is only the back half measuring roughly 400m.

There is a minor snafu with what is supposed to be the support spars for a solid over-shield/weapons array. I\'d show the underside, but that would spoil a fun surprise I\'m tinkering with underneath that occasionally annoys me when I forget to switch off symmetry planes while placing docking modules.

Currently 13k with power gen of 1.5 million, thrust of 57k, shields of 530k and recovery of 4

My goal is to push regen as high as I can, been cramming power modules, tanks, and shields in every odd nook and cranny as I flesh out rooms and corridors.

MSC stands for Mobile Space Colony.

There is not much to look at for now because not even the bridge is complete. I am planning to make an entire city inside of it and because the ship is so huge there will be shuttles like cars to travel around. The broken circle contour seen below the bridge is where the main part of the city will be.

I decided to get a few shots of angles I didn\'t get, first screen is the underside where I am currently focused at. In the foreground are four of eight planned lifeboats, two of which are hidden inside silos, and in the background you can see the after hangar. The silos\' exits are barely seen though, they are marked with red lights.

    http://drakosdoomhaze.deviantart.com/art/Starmade-screenshot-0008-390738930

This second shot is in one of the staterooms, which I may alter to be more homely, though that is a small chance since this is essentially a warship and home comforts are not a priority.

    http://drakosdoomhaze.deviantart.com/art/Starmade-screenshot-0009-390739000

This final shot is one of the engineering corridors which I have for now lit with red lights, may change to some other color or ad a secondary to even the light path.

I may take a short breather from the project to design the planned fighters, the two shuttles (to be named Wednesday and Pugsly) a maintenance craft (to be named Lurch), and the turrets I shall dub Uncle Fester class.

Don\'t judge me, I\'ve been watching old tv shows from my childhood, lol

This is my mothership the Apophis. its name comes from the greek version of the egyptian snake god Aepep, the god of chaos and destruction.

I\'ve wasted 24 hours on this already, and its not even half done :/ its only 200 meters long. looks so tiny compared to some of the things i\'ve seen on here.

any suggestions on where i can expand or what the bridge should look like?

So, after finishing and posting my Leviathan and seeing literally everyone put me to shame, I\'ve decided to build my first Titan. Currently working with the name Valiant, I plan it to be 350 or so meters. The next few pictures are the practically finished midsection.

(On a side note, image scaling hates me so I have to post the album link. Sorry.)

In the first picture you get a good shot of my horrid looking bridge. Any suggestions to fix that ugly hunk of black metal is much appreciated.

You could do what my intention for Morticia is, her current outer hull is just the unattractive inner hull to help map out the structure. When I finish the important stuff, I will layer on an outer hull with web patterns and red hourglasses. Gotta think about that missile damage variable, lol.

It doesn\'t really suit the overall design of the ship and honestly, I hate it. I need some ideas...

You could look at animal photos, generally what I do, or even study tribal patterns if its a color problem you are having. Even alcohol can help.....but it\'s not advisable, lol, my least attractive ship (which I also use for target practice when I make a new turret design or test a missile array) was inspired while heavily inebriated. The PG rated name I have for it is the \'purple space rod\', although it sorta resembles a certain part of human anatomy in my gutter mind.

Other places to look for designs, and I recommend having a camera on hand, are storm clouds, the big thunderheads especially. Just don\'t hang around if they turn black as pitch or a sickly green, lol.

I\'m going to try a few new bridge designs. I also built the back and am finishing up the armor plating it for it.

First update, I\'ve finished the hull and armor plating of the front and added the rear, which is also finished armor plating wise.

Picture #5 is to show off just how ridiculous the space is for engines. Yes, that will be ALL engines. The middle will be power + power tanks + shields, and the front will be AMC\'s and missiles.

***EDIT*** More pictures, I filled up the engine room only to realize that I\'d need to fill the entire ship with power for it to be even kind of stable, so I decreased the thrust from 150k to 50k. Even with 50k, it still accelerates pretty fast for a titan. I took the photos with HUD for 2 of the three new ones so everyone can see the full stats.

    ***EDIT#2***

Even more pictures. I finished the front armor plating, which took a considerably long time because I redesigned it at least 6 times. About to fill the front with AMC\'s and some SD-BB\'s, which is limited by power consumption. Final photos and this vs. my super-heavy cruiser will come very soon.

***FINAL EDIT*** Finally, the last pictures for the Valiant build. Only a few pictures, as all I did was finish the front. A few pictures with HUD to see the final stats.

Dual AMC\'s do 1000+ damage each, and the dual shotguns I have (12 per \"shotgun\") do 234 each. 2 missile arrays consisting of 5 missiles per array do 512 damage with a 33 radius each.

First picture is my favourite shot of the album, for stats and another side image. Second is to show off the front of it.

This is a large ship I have been working on which I am currently calling Voracious. It is actually a severely scaled down version of another ship I was working on. I decided I should test the design on a smaller scale before I put too much more work into the big one because it\'s so massive that I would be wasting an unjustifiable amount of time on building it if it were not to work. The mouth on that larger ship opens at a 100 meter radius and peaks currently at a 300 meter radius. The Voracious is small enough to fit inside that more than 3 times. However, the Voracious is not exactly small.

The ship is 244 meters wide and tall, and is 328 meters in length. It has a mass of 100261.3 (1002613 blocks). It has a thrust of 346946.2, which unfortunately consumes power slightly more quickly than the ship can produce it (a rate of 2310359.6 e/sec). However, the ship has a maximum power capacity of 1580561445.1, so it takes a very long time for the ship to run out of power, and any loss can be avoided by simply letting inertia do some of the work (don\'t hold down the gas all the time). It has 3894252 shields, at a rate of 43672 shields per second. It has a 5.0 recovery rate. Total, it has 335372 shield blocks. The ship is capable of cloaking for approximately 15 seconds, and is capable of jamming radar for somewhere around 30.

All weapons systems aim into the mouth (as well as salvage cannons/astrotechnobeams). There are 25 salvage cannon groups which each harvest at a speed between 0.028 and 0.045. There are 4 astrotechnobeam groups with repair speeds of about 0.017. There are 8 \"dumb\" missile groups with damage 316.1, distance 119.8, reload 15.9, speed 3.4, and radius 21.9. There are 4 heatseeking missle groups and 16 bunker buster groups with the same statistics as the dumb groups.

The real star, though, is the AMC system. Every green pad you see lining the inside of the mouth in that first picture has an AMC cannon group behind it. There are also at least 13 in the back of the mouth (honestly... I\'m not sure how many there are. The weapons menu for the AMC cannons is too laggy to scroll through because there are so many, and I can\'t really count them manually because many are buried within other things). Each one of those Antimatter cannons (except for one) does at least 240 damage, is capable of traveling up to about 670 meters, reloads at a rate of about 175, and moves at a speed of about 40. If one were to multiply the average damage per cannon (240) by the approximate number of cannons (225), one would get 54000. That is the estimated damage inflicted to the target if every shot hits it (which usually happens). So, if the Voracious is facing you... well, your hull is going to look pretty beat up, to say the least. I\'ve tested the ship against most of the top-rated ships on the ships list here, and none of them broke through my shielding before I destroyed them (though, granted, I was fighting the AI :P). Even after one round from the cannon system, most ships had pretty scratched up hulls.

Here\'s a picture of the antimatter volley from inside the mouth.

You\'ve really got a problem if you end up inside the mouth... you\'ll get hit from all sides. However, that\'s not too likely to happen.

Also, I parked this inside the sun to see what would happen, and got bored after about half an hour. The hull is three layers thick, and there\'s a lot of other stuff between the outside and the core.

The ship is about 90% finished. Mostly there\'s just aesthetic stuff left to do (the fins). Other than that, it\'s done.

Amazing ship. Can everyone stop putting my ships to shame? Haha.
