    Just wondering though, when are we going to see more progress on whatever your elusive cruiser is called now? I know that the blind orphan refugees can be pushed harder, so make it happen!

    Nice. Kind of like a giant bird\'s... er, wingy thing\'s beak. Especially since it\'s yellow. Interesting that you put the Effluvia Tunnels vertical as opposed to horizontal this time.

    i found it hard to follow what you were saying. but if i am hearing this right you are scraping the ensemble class and making a new escort carrier.

    We\'re keeping the Ensemble. Much like the Nocturne, it\'s simply recieving a full rebuild and heavy redesign.

    Over in AVA we have always enjoyed the look of your gunship Forte. However with our change to Green/white we felt it needed an overhaul. With our Norse Themed naming we went with one of the two wolves of Odin Freke. After extensive changes and a whole new drive section installed here is the rebuilt Forte-ala Freke



    In the image you can see we have mounted modified versions of VFW\'s Quad turrets, as well as our own new 6 bank Missile Turrets. The Freke\'s main hull weapons are a pair of medium speed anti-matter guns.

    The Combine\'s own Talon class gunship is about half done, ill post a pic here for posterity when she\'s finished, probably late tomorrow night. The Talon gunship features two 8-pack McRoss Massacre missile pods, two underslung Razorback light turrets, two carapace mounted Shortspear sniper turrets, and a nose mounted Needle turret. As well as a troop bay and a slushie machine.

    Is one sweet-lookin\' ship. I like what you\'ve done with it!

    The Forte is probably my favorite as well.

    I put the Freke through some combat and the Bunker Buster missile turrets would not fire on enemy pirates. Any ideas on what I might have done wrong or is the bobby just not able to use them yet.?

    I\'ve seen the AI use hull-mounted dumbfires, but only semi-reliably. The bobby AI just doesn\'t handle missiles very well if at all at the moment.

    I am glad you like the changes I made to the Forte Vec, once I get it uploaded be my guest to blow them up or take any design ideas you can get from it.



    I am also thinking of putting together an unguided torpedo(detonator) for mounting on the lower docking points for attack runs against large targets.

    Currently adding a single AMC and weapons computer to your missile turrets will make them function (at least SD-BB) I think they still have range issues that was supposed to be patched. MY duel purpose turrets work great and I added a \"targeting laser\" to all my dedicated ship to ship missile launchers.

    A number of EA turrets use either heatseeking or lock-on missiles. I\'ve seen them work before, they just don\'t fire very often.
