That's the whole point of this; we want to help but are not given the opportunity to.

You make the opportunity. Make a trailer if you want that. I suggest, if crimson cares, that he show this to the devs. I would have heard about this sooner if they had seen it.

To be fair, most of the people I've seen don't care whether their ships are featured or not.

They'd just like to see the opportunity for trailers and other official content to pop up, rather than being routed straight to MF - regardless of whether it's the MF players that're offering trailers to schine.

Really, it's coming down to the difference between "Schema! Schema! Hey, Schema! We made a video! Please look at it pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!" and getting results, and "Tell us what to do and we'll do it" and getting nothing.

I don't really care to have a ship featured in a trailer really. A new player is not going to notice whether a group made a ship or not. They probably won't care. If anything, we should just have a "this is starmade" series where players can make their own trailer. So long as everything is legal in the video and its quality, then it should get posted officially. Best solution IMO if people want to help the game out.

I don't care who does it, as long as it's good. I had no idea that those were MF ships, or that it was an MF production. I just thought it was rather simple and lacking. Knowing after the fact that it was an MF production just made sense of it. I do agree with the sentiment that if someone in MF is offered the opportunity to make something that represents Starmade that they should look farther than just MF for content.

I for one don't have anything against MF or any of its members. I know that I sound critical to the point of hostile to them with my comments to this point, and I'm sorry for that brutal honestly. I hope everyone will keep in mind that it my honest opinion, and does not constitute fact.

I have no idea whats happening in this thread anymore. Many times I was gonna post and the topic quickly flipped. And now the same arguments are being made, just with different people, kinda. I think everything that could possibly be covered here, has been covered. And after 10 pages, we haven't learned much. The rest of this is just a metaphorical slapping each other in the face with sex toys.

Your "MF (I will use MF to refer to the guiding head) is friendly stuff stuff stuff" is just SOOOO wrong. Of course this doesn't include everyone (like you, you were great). However, I, as a decent builder (imho), got LECTURED on more than an occasion on the basics of the game and ship building by extremely arrogant and unfriendly admins of mushroomfleet, including Tomino (surprisingly, considering that he's usually friendly).. Now I admit that that last line was harsh, but I had to get it out (just thinking about this again frustrates me). I was expecting a friendly community, what I got was a punch in the gut. I have to agree with this, tomino builds ineffective ships and they look ugly, anyway, you build amazing, effective ships, you invented skoomdrones and drone-launching and your epic titan, only people who have been awarded the master builder badge, and I would like to point out that that does NOT inclue tomino sama (I wonder why) should cntradict you, and even then not lecture you, perhaps give you small pointers, and to be frrank you should be awarded the master builder tag.

When you first joined the mushroom fleet you called one of the first ships I've ever made "Nice" and "Cool". To hear that coming from someone i personally admired made me overjoyed thinking that someday i could build as good as you could so after that point all the ships i make have tried to be an improvement after the previous hoping to eventually reach your level of building. And seeing you say that you laugh at those who say they will/can build as good as you Dalmont or Raiben seems unnecessarily cruel. As someone earlier in this forum thread said. "Creating ships is like art" and i agree with this but see you just flat out saying that nobody will be able to build as well as you can. It's almost as if you regard all other players as lesser artists then you who have no room for improvement.

you know what..you are really right. I was a fool when i said that,i realize that because i have seen countless ships i voted for,and they were out of this world! I know that its only a matter of time.. when someone will overthrow my creations from the top,and even be more popular than me. Even tho i will bite hard and i will try to stay in the front,that will happen. Its how nature works. I agree.

So give me another chance to correct myself,only people who CREATED this thread,and CONTINUE to fuel the flame war,and hate towards us and MF,will never catch up with me. i promise you that. i will never stop improving.
