The originial meaning doesn't matter anymore.

The black, white, red flag was only used by Nazi Germany to add credibility (Due to politics) for Hitler during his time as the chancellor. As soon as he self proclaimed "Leader" he abolished the Imperial Germany flag for the Red flag with White circle and Swastika.

Anyone with a bit of common sense would realize this and anyone who picks on you for "nazism" while using that flag is really just being an asshole.

This is an NPD building:

The NPD (Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands) is the political arm of modern era nazis. They are using this flag since direct references to Nazi symbols are banned in Germany, making it a symbol for Nazi ideology.

We even were concerned with this, so we thought up a tiny bit of a re-design to get it slightly further from anything offensive.

Actually, I think you can leave the ship in there. Not only will it make it more similar to the originally intended flag, but also make the use the black cross (later used as the insignia of the Wehrmacht) less obvious.

Might be a cheap knock-off version of the ship.

For the mod this ship design was nicked from, it's the second biggest ship for the Soviets, it would be a bit weird for something huge to land.

The fate of the server rests with letting the server's population build the economy. investment in infrastructure requires capital. and only larger factions have major capital. until i see all of your factions attempting to set into motion their own plans for public access warp networks, i will not leave concede this point. i said pirates or not. it is not directed only at pirates.

i made a massive warp net in the past.... it was lost with the elwyn wipe tho and i havent had time to work on it again

Not really. Neither are any of the people I would respond to that with.
Peace is more boring, this has been a boring war but hopefully we'll be able to do something soon, whether it be by in game attack or matters of meta-gaming.

What war, so far it's been me leveling everyone's bases and faction assets. I don't consider it one just yet.
