The original plan was to have them overlaid in the video as well... but it just didn't pan out. Having the resource in an accessible form with the connections laid out will be handy. I should have one of these for every video.

Hehe, I already did a (although not that well drawn) tutorial on a T-flipflop.
It was a different setup though, apart from the up-flank filter.

Yours is still explained better.(explaining stuff was always my weakest skill)
I was actually just there looking at your image comparing the two after I uploaded the image. The sizes are identical and I imagine they function identical as well. I like this design as it's just a pulse limiter, an RS_Nor latch and two AND gates so it's super easy to build.

I made an update video for episode 4. The timing on storage is 9 seconds instead of 10 like I thought

Thanks, Sven, I appreciate the videos. Quite helpful in laying out the basics of what I want to do for my ships.

    Episode 8 is now out!

    Demo Ship:

My original elevator was a little simpler to build but unfortunately it had a fatal flaw which caused you to skip floors at "terminal velocity" It does use the same floor selection circuit but single activator buttons all linked together and a single door control circuit that opened and closed every door. The idea was when you get to the floor you selected all the doors would close. Unfortunately this didn't always work if you are moving fast enough but luckily I found the error and corrected it before filming.

The multifloor elevator is cool and everything, but you know in a month or two rails are going to make it infinitely easier to build. In fact, I'll bet the devs are working to make sure of it just to spite you ;)

Everybody is assuming a lot about rails. You can bet I will make lots of logic based contraptions with rails when they come out. Until then I don't know how they function, or will function so I refuse to speculate. Also I don't think good old gravity elevators will ever be completely replaced.

Episode 9 is out, now you have no excuse not to animate your hanger doors! Two logic blocks per animation frame?! Who can say no!?
    Me.

I can say, "No." I can also say, "Ni." I can even say, "Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious."

Anyway, animated doors is bad laggy on huge doors. Small shuttle and figher doors, tho. Ya. They're cool.
