      We will be holding another Q&A session in two weeks (Sunday, April 20th)
      Details about the precise time and place will be posted as they are finalized.

      You are encouraged to add your inquiries below as comments on this thread, the questions will then be compiled into a list and discussed by the Dev's during the interview. Also during this stream we will show you some more of the progress Starmade has been making and discuss some of the soon to come content.

      Are you planning on letting the player rotate?
      Are you planning on allowing turrets on ships to be controlled with the mouse?
      I don't know if these questions have been asked before, but they would be very useful if they were in the game.

      Well I think there are some really important question :
      When will we get the new Weapon system?
      And of course, when will hostile NPCs happen?
      Why Dodecrahed... whatever as planet shapes? Nearly any shape has been suggested so why those and what makes them easier to implement?

      I am also very interested to hear about (always big theme on the [Old] Forums):
      FTL Travel/Warp/Stargates , any News/Progress in that section?

      Minor things I would love to hear about:
      Will/When will there be an Creative mode?
      Are we going to get a New Inventory System for holding Equipment which clutters up the Inventory?
      IS there an Solution planned for the current money overflow?(I hate the solution with Limited Shops right now.)

      Good questions! We did go over FTL in the previous Q&A, nothing new there really, there are possible methods to implement FTL, but we are not at the point of implementing any particular system yet.

      Will their be some more security options like card keys, force fields etc
      also what about rolling doors, doors that slowly roll up, down left and right

      Will the default "walking" speed for astronauts change. The current craaaaaaaaaaawl encourages everyone to carry a spare ship-core with them so they can "fast travel" through stations, ships, bases & planets.

      I'm also wondering if a sprint function will be added to astronauts.

      more to do with pressurization so you can vent the atmosphere in any case
      or what about having something you can write on to leave instructions for someone
      (could be a voice over that repeats every 4 mins giving you general info on like a shop or a station)

      can you enable it to see your hands and feet and to move the player pov from the neck to the actual eyes.

      There will be a quick way to change color of the blocks, swap or any other method for this?

      New tiers of energy, shields, trust blocks like we have with hull and hardened hull?

      Will be any change for the way docking space is calculated? Exemple: the docking module gives a 7x7x7 space by default, so you can change it manually withing these dimensions for something like 8x8x5.

      We will be able to save stations as blueprints like we do with ships and be able to buy them again?

      Is true that Schema have four arms?

      A few questions, here.

      - What is the ultimate plan for the gameplay? It's rather obvious that lot of priority is put into battles where humongeous ships will take part, but how much will there be for exploration and survival fans? Will there be situations like risking being stranded in space after a battle, requiring use of evacuation pods etc to survive extended periods of time till the help - NPC or player-based will arrive?

      - What are the plans for development in the closest future? Any roadmap/priorities for the next few versions (beside optimization and bugfixing which should be always a priority, I mean)?

      - We start slowly moving into direction of player character being more than a medium for the player to interact with a ship, with the addition of stuff like personal firearms. How much developed ship-less gameplay is expected to be? How big importance will the characters have? Will bigger ships demand several members of the crew for maximum efficiency? Will there be a selection of different armors/weapons or maybe even an ability of modular design of equipment for all kinds of activities from boarding enemy ships through scouting to extended exploration?

      - Regarding aforementioned survival, how many things will regular player have to worry about? Oxygen was mentioned and is a given, but what about other (possibly acidic/corrosive) elements in the atmosphere, food or water?

      - What is the ideal extend of things players will be able to mess with in regards to AI and the game's world? NPC factions with different goals, quests, adventures? Will we have background fluff elements or Starmade is made to be completely sandbox experience?

      - Which systems/features we can expect won't be further changed and which one may change dramatically? Things like all-direction propulsion blocks that can be installed anywhere vs actual thrusters or maybe even single-directional thrust requiring proper ship design so it will fly/turn in all required directions?

      - Will there be a way to have centralized controls for internal ship subsystems? Things like remotely activating and manipulating (or even overwriting manual access to) not just lights or doors but emergency self-destruct systems, connected turrets etc?

      - How regular Starmade workday looks like for different members of the team? In particular, Schema?
