    This amounts to some recoil. Still do not think you needa fucking bullet that large. 5.56 is enough to penetrate several inches of steel. I don\'t think you need a bullet to blow that sheet all the way to hell.

    To go along with raiding and boarding and such, what if you could hack into things? Like you could hack through PlexDoors that can\'t be opened since they belong to another faction. Or you could hack into weapon computers to disable weapons. Or pretty much anything, and then it would be disabled.

    EDIT:Woops, I posted before seeing that there were 5 pages of comments :P Sorry if someone else already thought of this idea

    Okay, so all those stuff, but you forgot about the nukes.Me want nukes.Imagine, launching a nuclear warhead that can be piloted from your own spaceship, or maybe an anti-planetary beam to destroy your enemy\'s home planet

    If you consider what humanity has to fight in the 40th millenium...

    Overly-exaggerated green-skinnede football hooligans that want to kill you and have the ability to survive decapitations because they are partially fungi, and can pierce any armor they feel like just because they don\'t think your armor is good enough protection against their bullets and axes

    Hordes of giant bugs that have the ability to evolve in the timespan of minutes to become immune to your weapons, who want nothing but to eat you and everything around you and your planet until it is nothing but a barren asteroid in space, and come in numbers so massive they have the combined mass of a galaxy

    Robots made out of self-regenerating metal harder than any material known to man even in the 40th millenium, that have inertialess-drives on their space ships, the ability to phase out of existence to avoid taking damage, the ability to teleport when they take too much damage, the ability to get back up even when they are reduced to a tiny puddle, and guns that shoot through multiple dimensions, piercing any kind of armor and diassembling your molecules into their base atoms

    Your own brothers, who happen to have better equipment than you because their equipment is tainted by chaos

    Gigantic warp daemons that are made out of materials like fire, which furthermore makes them immune to mundane weapons like bullets and require you to use special weapons against them

    Space communists with extremely powerful ranged weaponry, giant robots and rail guns

    Space elves that are so fast that they can casually dodge bullets, even giving super soldiers a hard time keeping up with them, shooting monofilament or razor sharp poison crystals that kill you instantly, that also happen to be extremely powerful psykers that are mostly immune to the perils of the warp because they have fancy helmets that you don\'t have

    Then .75 caliber self-propelled mass-reactive diamantine tipped depleted uranium cored bolts make sense

    Well first of all, nuclear bombs have nothing to do with personal defense due to the scale of damage they do

    Second of all, what are you going to do with nuclear bombs when there\'s a guy on your ship with a gun? Are you going to blow up your own ship?

    Besides, you can achieve this effect by connecting a ton of missile launchers together

    I mean, if you really want \"nukes\" that bad with the entire shell and the ability to pilot it, it wouldn\'t be very effective because the target ship can just shoot it down or dodge it. Just make a ship with disintegrator explosives

    As for superlasers, that\'s for another time. It also has nothing to do with personal defense.

    I mean, I like the AI idea, like a mech, but anything else is kinda too... non-arcadelike. Personal weapons would overcomplicate a shipbuilding game. People would hop into your ship while you\'re fighting and do more damage than they could before, which is saying something.

    On the other hand, deploying drop ship like craft from a carrier that drop... droids onto a planet/station to siege and try to take it from the enemy would be quite cool. However, one would have to have MUCH smaller parts, and, really... it isn\'t something an arcade voxel spacecraft building game is meant for.

    That\'s what I think, at least.

    Tier three weapons will be my main thing, but they should add tier five which could be like nuke targeters and One-shot guns.. Any agree?

    Well, a \"nuke targeter\" wouldn\'t be at all useful because all you have to do is tell your friend who has a missile boat ship to shoot at something, and I\'m not sure what you mean by \"one-shot gun\"

    It\'s a missile launcher that shoots a missile, which follows you and then explodes sending flak all over your ship. Just like in real life!

    when building convetional weapons there could be some sort of bullet/projectile editor where you could custom make the ammo* at a even smaller scale then the barrel ofc, where you could make the projectile have special effects, like say Armor Piercing, High Explosive or even incendiary and a lighter projectie would travel much faster then a heavyer one. it would work exacly as the weapon builder would work but for the projectile (This would mean that granade launchers and RPGs and even mortars (in IGC**) would be possible)

    *This would work regardless wether or not ammo for the weapons are needed, however if you did need ammo it would make stuff like useing a standard ammo for your faction and having the faction have ammo that is not used by the enemy faction in case a storage would be captuerd.

    ** In Gravity Combat, when used where gravity is applied, for the mortar.

    EDIT: or maybe that would be too much?

    Are you asking for the possibility to design the projectiles the weapon fires? Because then the game would have to download and render every single projectile from every gun every time it is fired. Imagine the lag you\'ll get from 100 tiny spaceships flying through the air. We don\'t need that kind of detail

    Plus, the projectile effects are added in the weapon designer

    It\'d be nice if we had some kind of special shield-disruptor ordinance weapon that damaged shields, but didn\'t do anything to hull

    The customization could be invisible and only change how the damage is caculated, and it could make for the option to change what ammo your gun is fireing by just loading the new ammo.
