I couldn't agree more, with that pride blinds.

And as you can read on the TE thread, my men only joined the battle because the NFD lacked members. So my men were just trying to make the drill more "fair" and fun, as we saw at the NFD vs TE drill that 5 vs2 isn't that interesting as a 5 vs 5 battle.
I can not do for that the information of the TE members joining the NFD side in the drill was not sent to the CR.
And as the NFD member with highesr rank did not send this to the CR I do not understand.
Neither do I understand why the TE is blamed entirely when its the fault of all three parts.

It seems like all sides are blinded by bias, angst and an ample amount of butt hurt to me.

Everyone here, from twoniner, to me, to you, seems like we all need to sit and keep our mouth shut for 2-3 days till we can discuss like a group of rational human beings.

Debris is exempt since he didn't get involved, but keeping this aggression towards each other is to be frank, pointless.

Oh well, maybe at a later day we can hold another war-game. Leaving as an option should you decide to take it, we will always be happy to oblige!

And next time a bit more planning can be done to avoid this debacle.

So to sum it up

- Battle was supposed to be between NFD and CR.
- Insufficient number of member lead to TE temporarily on NFD side
- Lack of notification lead to percieved "gate crash"
- PM between TwoNiner and Kiwi was hostile, and insults were exchanged
- Situation now: Ample rage, and desire for blood and heads


Let's cut to point 2 and maybe both side should review their action. This is a bloody game remember, no longer fun when this occurs.

NFD and TE should have given some form of notice and not a jump scare.
CR needs to review their actions, and calm down rather than escalation.
TE might need to make sure their representitives do not make insults.
CR is the same as above.

Mort is right, you all really do need to cool off. As to the notification thing, I'm genuinely surprised the issue wasn't even brought up by anyone beforehand, it's kind of neccesary to tell people who's doing what...

Hopefully once the NFD server is up and all is well, we can arrange something with multiple factions? Heck, maybe even throw the names into a hat and have everyone play on random teams with whatever ships they want?

Ok just to clear this up:
I started a PM between the people who were involved in what happened and I was honestly hoping that, what was bad comunication on my part and a misunderstanding between the TE and CR, could be resolved without starting a major flame war/full war. Apearently that isn't working.

The TE was not entirely blamed for what happened. I relieze that I should have notified the CR about the TE helping me and pyoso out, and I am taking that part of the blame. I'm not entirely sure why this escilated this quickly but I understand that I had a part in starting it.

On another note everyone just needs to calm down. This event was suposed to be a friendly wargames and instead it turned into a yelling match. This is a game and anything that is damaged can in fact be replaced. Lets have fun playing a wonderful game instead of hating each other because of a misunderstanding.

I greatly dislike homebased turrets, we have modular defenses which allow someone to assault us and do damage, however still maintain the faction home base so we at least have something to come back to.
