Gyn Steel was in a young faction that got stuck in the war. In grown in the chain of command to be the great leader of it. Gyn hated war and fight but made his way out of it. Though when everything was wrecked, Gyn still try to step out and be a good man. He want to rebuild the old faction he was in before but want to keep the neutral mind of it. Right now, he want to find a new home. Building a new ship and try to avoid pirate.

Reason for applying: I Started playing StarMade a few weeks ago and loved it to build Ships. Only thing that bored me was not to play with other Players in Multiplayer. This server sounds good for me because I like roleplaying AND building/flying Ships. My english ist not the very best (I was born in Germany), but I always will do my best for roleplaying.

Bio: Remington is a smart, aging woman, the scars of many wars and lengthy cryogentic freezing scares her body. Her hair remains a bright red though, and her blue eyes continue to shine and sparkle.

Remington was the finest ship captain around, piloting her family made ship during the war, but all the steel and guns was not enough to save her, and the ship was spilt in half, she took shelter in a cyrogenic stasis pod, which she drifted in for 15 years before being rescued, and she is now here today.

Character Name: Jake Ramsay

Bio: A charasmatic young leader, Dispatched by the head of the Syndicate to oppose Nanotrasen wherever it may be. He has had many adventures and yet only killed a few people. He leads the Galaxy\'s section of the Syndicate Corporation and regularily organises agents to infiltrate Nanotrasen stations and then dispatches the Nuclear Operatives to destroy those stations. His job requires him to be ruthless, But he prefers to lay back on his stealth ship, The SSV Normandy (No relation to Mass Effect, Completely unintentional.). He has been in many adventures with his ship, taking it everywhere using it\'s experimental drive core capable of FTL speeds, Designated the Astor Core. He was involved in a giant space battle near one of the Syndicates orbital stations and had a nuclear torpedo launched at it. In order to escape the torpedo, He activated the FTL drive\'s experimental warp capabilities and sent the ship to an unknown star but completely killing the other crew due to extreme radiation. In order for Jake to survive the radiation emitted, He hid within the core shielding itself. He managed to rig the ship to be flown by one man and flew it to a far planet, Beginning this sector\'s Syndicate outpost. Jake\'s job now is to lay low, Gain some new recruits and engineers to assist in the rebuilding of the fleet and setting up planetary defenses and cannons. The SSV Normandy\'s warp capability was damaged after the ship was attacked by pirates, Rendering the core only useful for FTL travel.

Reason for applying: Because AdmiralKio is a good friend of mine and suggested I should join and create another Antagonist group following lore of a game we play.

Bio: elongated, physically flabby and cerebral, Vandemeer was raised in a pocket of neo-Calvinist settlers on a barren planetary outpost far from the center of human civilization. as his tiny community made its daily, hardscrabble rounds between backbreaking colonial labor and taciturn spiritual fervor, Claudius lost himself in books. Feeble and introverted, he listened to reports from the rubble of human endeavor from behind stacks of datafiles and even--occasionally--actual printed books. While his parents sang psalms and struggled to grow enough food to survive, he spent his free time with ancient languages and history of old Earth.

At 20 he had developed a historical obsession with the ancient Dutch, his community\'s (extremely) distant ancestors. Taking a tiny shuttle with \"East India Company\" crudely stencilled on the side, he left his barren homeworld to make his way in the ruined galaxy as a venture capitalist. Claudius is technically inept, nearsighted, and addled with too much reading--but eager to make disgusting amounts of money.

Reason for joining: I\'m disappointed by lack of roleplay and low-quality interactions on the servers I\'ve tried. I want to really get into character and enjoy the sense of a rich universe populated by actual characters, not \"fartmaster121212\" and his MEGA SPACE KILLERS faction.

Bio: Vollaran was drafted into the army of his home planet only at the age of 14. He has fought in every war they fought since, and has become skilled in combat. When the End War came, he fled his home planet to escape the carnage. When he announced his intentions to his family, they disowned him, and branded him as a traitor. So, he left and has been wandering the universe since in search of other humans. (Due to his wandering, he is a bit emotionally unstable, so he can sometimes procure some outbursts that may be unexplained or occur due to something that someone said. Happens when you float around in space for about a year with nobody to talk to.)

Reason for Applying: I like smaller servers and I love roleplaying. I\'ve been at it for years now, and combining it with one of my all-time favorite sandboxes will make my day.

Bio: (One paragraph minimal, three at max) Alex lived a wonderful life even after the extinction of humanity. He lived on an asteroid base, (side note i already have an asteroid base build and will use that once i get enough credits) Here is where he grew up virtually unaffected bye the extinction. He still was a millionair and considered to have the most worthy fleet of all time. He also was not a cruel man he sheltered over 1million people when the aliens attacked. And somtimes you can visit him and he will lend you some credits to help you get started. Then one day he heard over the comms

\"This is Alpha cintati requesting assistance..\" he heard over the comms it sounded urgent.

He got into his personal repair ship and flew out to the crippled vessel and brought it back to his house where he repaired it to use as his personal flag ship. (sorry for the sudden end i couldent tie up the story with the lengh provided if you need a good story i can pm one i wrote )

Bio: His story is the usual one, born aboard a trade freighter. He grew up in space, spent his youth doing mostly nothing, while also learned all there is to know about 50 years old freighter - not much for sure. Merdon\'s at man\'s age now. He has nothing to expect from his parents, their scarce heritage will fall upon Merdon\'s oldest brother, it\'s time for Merdon to seek out his own path, a destiny.

The few credits he had saved didn\'t get him far, but he\'s here now. Hard-working and honorable man can still make his way in this world today, build a future, raise a family - or so he has been taught. With those values in mind he glances at the alien stars, ready to start his voyage.

Reason for applying: A good server is priceless. Although it has been a while, I have RP\'d before (in Star Trek Online) and I\'m eager to give it a try in StarMade as well. Building a ship with interiors and RP functionality rather than plain combat performance would be interesting and hopefully very rewarding experience. Also not having to worry about every single person opening fire at sight or random players having admin ranks and going crazy with them would most surely be refreshing.

Bio: (One paragraph minimal, three at max): Legion is what is known as a Synthetic, A Robot. He was a Specially created Geth, a race of robots that rose up against their masters. This Unit is special due to the fact that it has 1,183 separate programs, Unlike the regular unit, which only has 100, it also has special panels around its \"Face\" to mimic expressions.

Those 1,183 separate programs actually saved Legion, as he was smarter than the rest, and realized that the war they waged against the Organics of the Galaxy could only lead to certain death, and decided to take a tactical retreat, to a planet, with the rest of his Squad, of slightly less intelligent geth, each only having 513 seperate programs, at which point the other shut down, waiting out the war, whilst Legion lept guard.

When the War ended, Legion tried to reactivate the others, with no luck, So, realizing that leaving them behind would be a waste, he salvaged all useful tech from them, and went out into the galaxy once again, taking the small shuttle they had used to arrive, back into space. Reason for applying: Looked pretty cool, felt like some ACTUAL Rp for once. Not the usual \"OH we\'re RPing, But i will sit there with my deathcube, and just re name it a Borg Cube so i cant get yelled at for being a crappy shipwright

Mikhail Sorminov was born on a slowboat colony ship Novalyn, the son of the commander of the defense forces. Throughout the first fifteen years of his life, Mikhail saw his home and everyone he knew fall victim to exterior enemies and interior schism. As the last, bloody civil war raged on around the bridge of the Novalyn, Mikhail was ordered by the captain to fire on the passenger areas of the ship, to pacify the mutineers. Instead, he few off with his father\'s ancient and worn gunboat to make his own way among the unforgiving stars.
Forty-Two years later, a tired old man pilots a tired old bulk freighter between surviving enclaves. He knows that his time will soon come, and he accepts his fate. His ship, of which he is not the first, or the twentieth owner, has been customized and refitted beyond all recognition, and only Captain Mikhail now knows how to keep her running, or even how to read the Cyrillic labeling on every control. The ship is minimally armed, for there are few enough men left that we need not slay one another; but nestled among the cargo modules and random salvage is a red and white Gunship. Meteor pitted and dusted with matter from the whole of known space, within the cockpit lies a dusty, grainy image of a beloved wife and mother. A reminder that there is a time, and a reason to fight.

Reason For Applying: I would like to check out the server, as a low importance NPC type character. I don\'t know if you remember my work from Eternia, but I played a pacifist merchant, and I plan to nearly duplicate that here. I plan to sell materials in bulk, delivering them to players to order. I plan to salvage whatever I can, and sell such salvage for whatever the market will bear. I am always welcome to being raided by pirates, or escorted by friendlies. I want players to ask for me to bring them unusual or useful things, recipes or hidden logbooks; bulk quantities of ore, or a single intact example of a pirate ship.
In short, I want to make RP more interesting. If this does not pan out, I shamelessly plan to make my own server.
