Fold seems to be broken. Saying regardless of where my ship is that it is docked thus cannot fold. Docking and undocking doesn't fix this from what I can tell. Some have managed to fold but I'm not sure how

Can you explain the buying sector commands? Also what are the Beacon commands?

theyre a *little* bugged atm, so I wouldnt use them if I were you (you could lose them randomly). I am trying to fix them, but I havent had much time lately due to family :l

Haha yea that happened to me. But while I had it it seemed like it drained money from the faction account and I had heard it was suppose to do the opposite but I am sure you will fix that when you can!

It does drain money from the faction account, but the money is generated and stored inside the beacon sector, so you have to collect it regularly or you will run out of money

WOW! I used the first incarnation of the server Daemon, and have just come back to set up a new server. FANTASTIC job guys! This adds some amazing functionality for admins and players. Very impressive.

There is a new release V.17.1
Available at https://github.com/doomsider/DTSD/releases/latest

Changes are:

• added a live backup function
• improved the performance

I managed to get this to start without sudo, but i still cant get any commands to work. any tips?

There are a few Dependencies, atm i don't know all. But later when I'm at home I can list them better.
Make sure you have the following, check them with ~$ which <command>

• bash
• java 1.7 (because java 1.8 isn't yet the best choice, check with ~$ java -version)
  
• screen
• zip
• wget

I can give you better help when you can copy+paste the output of the script in the terminal when you execute it, upload it to a paste service, pastebin.com or similar.

when i execute the ./starmaded.sh i receive:

I know minimum 4 Servers where the script works fine, so it is maybe a dependency Problem :/

Well, all dependencies are fine, server works, commands like restart, backup or other are ok, but ingame !<command> doesn't work Also player files doesn't populate even with sudo...

Yea i checked and updated all the dependencies. what Distro is best for SM and the wrapper. I'm using the newest Ubuntu server release. should I be switching to fedora? or another penguin?
