Having all stations in one vid - wouldn't it be a 1GB vid? :D

I think it is hard to _compare_ the ones you like because some don't even have a screenie of every room.

recording 1minute with fraps gives 2gb, so i hope he isn't using that... hehe a lot of compressing would be needed.

It takes time to create all the polls and refine all the raw-data we have about the stations.
Also some double checking is needed before posting, as any later change will reset/wipe all votes.
That is not an option. =)

While it does look great, I don't really see a trading station in it, rather something military, maybe if Starmade is ever going to have a plot or so, Dalmont's station would be great as a starting point or some other part of it.

That's just my opinion of course.

It's not like the trading guild is an unarmed merchant faction. They have fleets of armed ships at their disposal to kill anyone who shoots at their shops. Sounds like they're more of a faction that started out as merchants, but expanded to military as well.

That's also true I guess, looking at it that way instantly makes a lot more sense : P

We'll never know with these merchants. Seems like they have enough influence where it's needed to keep themselves safe while having clean hands.

...Or, they're merchants that at this point need a defensive fleet, and large weapons on their transport ships to ward off pirates. That doesn't mean they're going to go sticking up military bases everywhere.

I like Dalmont's station but decided to change vote because I don't want to be tempted start a war with the trade guild for ownership as it's made for walking around in and the Trade Guild has locked the doors and I can't find the hide-a-key

That'd just be a quick change to the station. They'd need to just add some faction permission blocks in the frame of the door and it'd be fine.

I plan to do a video series showcasing the new stations going in the game. Would you guys rather see short videos of all the entries to be voted on? Or wait until the winners have been chosen and do a more in-depth look on each?

Ah. I just started working on my own reviews after I saw the polls. I wasn't sure if you were going to continue your series or not since it had been a while. I'm planning on basic submission review. I won't be revealing my favorites but I am going over the stations so that I can pick my five during the filming of the series.

Dalmonts station is good, I'll admit, but it doesn't hold a candle to some of the others in the list. His really is winning because it's popular. Featured on mushroom fleet server reviewed by that one bloke.

Dalmonts station is unfinished and in comparison to some of these other stations, it's design is not even that well thought out. You all really need to go look at the station.

Do you really want someone choosing the book of the year based on the cover? How about awarding Oscars based solely on a single movie poster?

Honestly, didn't take a look at the names. Hell, as long as you can fly around, see a station and say :

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ME LIKES A LOT DIS IS SO...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !"

And seriously: WHY?! Why do all these stations have to look so nice? I'd vote for almost all of them if I could!
