Basically, I just voted for blue things that looked cool... And Maranello's station because it's amazing. (Which caused me to *bump* Dalmont's also-amazing station off my list. Sorry Dalmont!)

The exterior of these is what you see all the time
On these stations, it looks a bit too unfinished for my liking
(but I respect their work nonetheless, just please don't get 1/5 of default stations )

These look nice too and would have been my next choices:​

Outpost ,, Refueling station

But I think the outpost belongs to military not trading guild due to its look. It would confuse a lot of peoples.​

And like with every vote (even the one to select government parties or members) this one has 1 flaw.

If peoples have 8-10 favorite stations and their vote #4 and vote #5 don't make it in, they would have voted #6 and #7 instead of #4 and #5...

The vote would have been more representative with 5 where for every choice:

+2 +1 +-0 -1 -2

+-2 count as 2 choices on the same entry
+-1 distributed equally over choices
+|- choices counted separately (displayed as "result(p+n) vote-points(p-n)" and maybe "positive(p) negative")
0 being default​

I hope this vote option will be possible some time in future.​

Please, let's not critique people's entries here. If you have a reason to dislike them, simply don't vote for them, I'd prefer to avoid even going near the idea of making people feel bad for trying to contribute something.

Agree, it was a bit harsh on the second view over it. I hope the edit displays my intentions better.

I think the best part of this contest is that even if your choice doesn't win, you can still download it and use it on your own server/Singleplayer game.

There are going to be three types of stations: Trader, Abandoned, and Pirate. If we're thinking about the same station here I'm pretty sure that he submitted it as an abandoned station.

Very strong contest entries here. But many look too large to work as a spawn shop due to loading times. Please specify their scale and block count like der_scheme did. Otherwise I can't vote for them , which would be a pity... seriously , that Iota station fan.

Is this something we can go and visit without having to load these in singleplayer? The images are neat, but I would like to see the insides of these before I vote, and I don't really have time to load them into my singleplayer universe at the moment.

I consider it very likely that many people won't go ingame to take a look at all of them, therefore making very uneducated choices, since some stations look great on screenshots, but not in game, and some the other way round.
So, your answer: the former.
