      I know it was when I realized it though :P I also haven\'t had a faction base on a planet since before you could rename ships, so I had assumed that you could rename just about anything with a fac module.

      basically I see your point, but feel it is invalid. You should have to work to find people, pirating shouldn\'t be a walk in the park. Time and effort should have to be put into it, with my idea about fuel people would only have to go there like every hour, not every 10 min. So a lot of waiting...

      I had thought about some of these things for a while, and how some idiot flying their huge ship through a debris/asteroid field would cause tons of lag. The collision damage would probably be the best way to fix that, this way larger ships would avoid the fields, and smaller ships would still go...

      I usually keep it up so that I can see my ping (really slow internet) but It seems to be inaccurate on that anyway, when I press tab I see numbers that can be over a thousand different than what is displayed on the data.

      There are hundreds of thousands of planets, and I counted 15 in a single star system. You wouldn\'t be able to tell if people were looting a planet from 3 sectors away, so how would you be able to tell from being in the star-system?
