StarMade v0.199.654(a) corrupting version
StarMade v0.199.646 Rollback version
(Adding that to OP)
Thank you for the help you provided. I got carried away with life for a bit, however I eventually got back around to this. I can't remember the exact process (for future reference, or lack...
The only problem with the rollback plan is that I don't actually know what version I would need to go back to. The last time I saved a ship was sometime in April'17. Is there a version/date list?
I tried to start Starmade after a long break, however after a bit of trouble I've found that all but the latest of my large builds cause the World0 server to quit to Main Menu. Creating a new universe results in a normal start, however attempting to spawn in aforementioned ships from the catalog...
'A' looks like the upper portion of a submarine. If the ship is an attacker, I'd say use 'A'. If not, 'B' is more sleek. Something to consider is the size of the overall ship. Based on the third picture, I would worry that the second bridge is too thin/small for the overall ship. In that case...
Well, after a day of playing the collision issue didn't reappear, but before adding the bar to extend the box I tested the collision and it was fine even before. From what I can tell the bar only stopped the extending chain-dockings from having collision issues, which happened over time rather...
Just something I noticed about something I've been working with. What I was making was an unfolding rotator-based wall. There's about 4 entities chain-docked. Over long periods of time, the "later" entities in the chain will lose collision, as well as my ability to select or interact with its...
Thanks for pointing out the broken image. I checked my imgur account and found the album including the images for that ship was....completing removed...odd.
Thanks for that last comment! The Drury was a bitch to build, but it's the greatest thing I've built in any free-world game.
edit:
Ever.
I've been contemplating switching to Space Engineers. Its more technical aspect draws more of my attention. I'll probably still play Starmade, but I have reached a bit of a stall point with my latest design.
I really hope a lot of people vote for "Contested" The other stations just focus so hard on small ships, and besides....if you're buying blocks you're likely going to put them on your ship anyway....how many people are going to stop and "sleep" in the station? I get that the whole point there is...
Thank You!
On the topic of weapons, you wouldn't happen to know an easy way to change the direction a computer is facing without having to relink thousands of weapon modules? My AMC shoots backwards....
I've slaved a damage-beam computer (which is connected to ~243 DB modules) to a missile computer (which is connected to many more than 234 missile modules), but despite the chart stating that the missiles would become "Tracking Long missiles" the missiles entirely fail to heat-seek the...
Station looks great! Absolutely wonderful, BUT, is it versatile? Could anyone stop by and dock their ship or is it using a custom classification system?
edit: primary section looks a bit blocky.
Your station is coming along very nicely :)
I especially like the ribbed arms, works very well with the asymmetrical design (which you did extremely well imho; I suck at anything asymmetrical). I presume the dock module is hidden in the plates in front of the ring?
