So in a post in january was this:
Turrets and Docked ship can now have their default orientation modified. Your docking zone will still need to avoid being Red (This should be based on the orientation of the dock block, youll get an arrow to help with that)

so basically turrets are pretty bad - at least unti lwe get proper turret cores or something.
Too many pieces that can easily be blown up - since u cant even hide them deep inside the turret itself - u needt oaccess/activate them.
Can the turrets on a station share same AI core (for example oen in my main control room) - and any docked "turret" would use it?
Do turrets need to have standalone weapon computers (cant they again be on the station itself)?
So all the turret would be is the core + weapons.
Is there any way to rotate it in space and not be locked to the sectors plane?
im having hard time using 1x2 tunnels or non gravity floors etc on smaller ships.
That shouldnt be allowed.
If you delete ships core that didnt have any parts attached to it - it seems to work, it moves you to the spaceman mode.
Howewer if i deleted a engine piece etc and the ships core last, i was stuck in the build/flight mode combo - without an actual ship. Flight mode...
Deleted ships core in build mode -assumign it would throw me into spaceman "mode".
But got stuck - R didnt exit anymore and no ship core to build with.
Relogged and on login im getting the EOFException.
Got ingame after logn time now (6-7 months) - and went ot a rock.. picked some up.. and read " red rock"... there isnt evn a hint of red in their texture tho Oo

Indeed... what i mainly noticed was alot of performance and bugfixes, which is not bad - but didnt really notice anythign gameplay wise/content.
The reason i end up quiting was that i just got bored - exploring was repetitive and uninteresting, farming/mining lacked any real reason to bother...
Havent played for around 7 months if not more.
Has there been any epic, larger/massive changes since then?
Not new items or bugfixes - but new mechanics, crafing etc.
What is needed is extra options:
1. Allow saving to the catalogue, stored on the server.
2. Disable importing from local catalogue
3. Allow setting price modifier for the ship purchase.
4. Set a cooldown timer for each purchase.
These would allow people to save their hard work, rebuy them...
Any ideas how much does it actually consume when recharging - i noticed 4000/s on the sites wiki.. but is that really correct?
even with 9x9 grid thats 324000 e/s - even with my current 44k e/s power core and 20k stored thats 5x+ more drain for 1s to recharge 800 shields.
So i played for a few hours... sold stuff built soem ships... then decided to go and explore.
First dissapoitnment was that planets are flat tiny disks of rock.
So i flew mroe and more and it felt as if im repeating same tiny section of space over and over again - mined tons of rocks and...
