Bug Activating an activator in a design breaks it (unloads, and refuses to load)

What I mean is that if a design (the design item in the shipyard computer) contained an activator block (the logic blocks that toggle on or off), and that activator block was on, the design would be considered invalid. It wouldn't load, and if it was loaded when the activator was turned on, it...

      Bug logic shift V broken

It's still working here, but only when in a build block or core. I don't remember if it ever worked as an astronaut.

Mine are white but transparent (on my Nvidia GTX 460).

Bug Activating an activator in a design breaks it (unloads, and refuses to load)

A small design (3 wide, 3 tall, like 9 or 12 long or something) is failing to load, with "entity for design not valid in database." Edit: It seems the problem is activating an activator in a design that's being designed, which causes the design to immediately unload and refuse to load. (This...

Is Starmade worth playing right now?

Are there even any battle mode servers? It doesn't look like there are.

Is Starmade worth playing right now?

Unless it's somehow a result of playing on EE/using their config/etc, StarMade seems to be a bit crashtastic right now.

      Bug BufferOverflowExc org.schema.game.client.view.cubes.shapes.BlockShapeAlgorithm.a(SourceFile:1080)

I would post something on the bug tracker, but apparently I can't: because (1) I have my blockbehaviorconfig set to match ElwynEternity's, (2) have no intention of disabling Windows Defender, and (3) have played on ElwynEternity. I believe the bank is a custom plugin. (How could a server...

Bug Rail docker changing direction when undocked?

It's strange and confusing that putting an activation module next to a rail is how you (a) undock something from a rail, (b) detect when something moves on the rail, and (c) clone one rail to another.

Bug Rail docker changing direction when undocked?

If there are no logic signals going into the rail dock, how are you undocking? Is it just because it decides to change direction?

      Hull Hardening Effects

The effects do continue when you leave the ship, or did in 0.157 anyways. I haven't tried 0.159 yet, but I had built a ship, turrets, and a fighter which all had > 100% shield and armor buffs and turned the systems on in each one, and they stayed on when I got out. They do eventually turn off...

StarMade v0.159 Fixes & Mail System

Yeah, it works just fine on Windows 8. I play on (64-bit) 8.1 (pro), myself, with a GTX 460. I have noticed that StarMade seems to have problems or break if run with 32-bit java (which for me has seemed to be any time 32-bit java was installed), for some reason. Normally I only keep 64-bit...

      An Apology

How could he have possibly known that you were using the spam report tool in your email client*? (And even if he had known, he'd have been wrong because you never asked for those emails - they were turned on by default and could only be turned off by a convoluted series of steps!) Did you...

      An Apology

      1. Do your forums default to spamming up people's email inboxes? 2. Is it easier to hit the spam button in the email than to figure out how to make it stop on the website the emails are coming from? If the answer to both questions is yes (and it is, unless you've changed the default for the...

Some ideas for you all to mull over before the Q&A

You can make a faction module for 2 credits with cubatoms right from the beginning of the game. You can make anything else fabricate-able for 3 credits or less. This is one reason there's a new system being implemented now to replace cubatoms and recipes and all that.

I'd like everyone's opinion on this.

The problem there isn't that cursor aiming needs to be ripped out, it's that it needs to be limited so the guns will only aim so far off the forward axis. I take advantage of the fact that it is unrestricted by mounting my turrets on standard docking modules, the effect being that they don't...

I'd like everyone's opinion on this.

You commonly have more than just one gun per weapon computer, and it's pointlessly tedious to set up many guns identically in that screen - especially when it just forgets your settings anyways (unless that was fixed and I missed it).

I'd like everyone's opinion on this.

Space engineers hasn't fully implemented weapons? :S You can use the free-look key to look all around you in your war-cruiser. I don't recall if you can aim and fire while you're doing this. AIs could, in the last version I played much in (I haven't re-tested it in .14, mainly because I'm...
