      Contested border.... Good. Incentives would be like real life. No room if you get surrounded and the fact that they are right next to you should make you want to close the gap, so you can have a solid border. They know where you are and are right next to you. Suspitions should naturally rise.

      Power generation should get more effecient as it goes, if you have noticed. Power storage would be good for fighters but useless for capital ships as it would be a waste to need a giant capital ship to power yours instead of just putting them in one.

      A Different Approach to Ship Classifications

      Ship classifications should base on both size and role. For example, a giant capital ship that has everything including carrier bays, massive guns, ect would be called a mothership.

      Maybe by having minerals be rarer and more concentrated instead of having them spread all over, like having an asteriod with only one type but a lot and higher value ones as well, or making contact with an enemy ship barely in your territory brings your AI to kill it without war, ect.

      The way you suggest it you would lose percentage of power gens second by second, but if your power gens are gone that doesn\'t mean you would die, because the percentage would be a variable that multiplies itself by your power gen. I could go deep into the coding side but I wont do that yet.

      The core should be extremely tough and take a lot of shooting to kill, making it more effective to knock out their power, then because they are dead in the complete lack of water or anything therof, you can fix your cannons on their core and pound it for a while.
