      Kupu helped me with bump mapping a little while back so I will just post what he told me. I use a free program called crazy bump, here is a link to download: http://www.crazybump.com/ PS make sure bump mapping is turned on when you test your textures out.

      Not necessarily since you can now selectively remove only one type of block if you want. I would recommend that you check out Mushroom Fleets video on the update, it'll help a lot.

      I would suggest downloading other popular ships and seeing how some of the really good builders do it. After doing this for awhile you will eventually be able to create your own detailing.

      I see what you mean.. hmm perhaps for smaller ships it should be able to go either way, as in it gets a bonus for box dimensions but scales linearly if they are just clumped together. edit: Actually that may be best for all ship sizes

      Perhaps instead of new computers the current ones will push or pull in the direction it is facing, similar to how weapons fire in the direction their computer is facing. Edit: which CyberTao beat me to posting by a second
