      Easy answer to self destruct

Disintegrators should be used for mine-fields. But I really like the idea of a C4-block for self-destructing your ship. You can hit C4 with a hammer, let plumb fall on it, burn it and cook your meal over it, fire a high-speed sniper gun with phosphore cloaking at it and do almost everything...

      MMO (massive multiplayer online)

http://star-made.org/content/repair-bay Something that preserves planets from planet eaters (give something to actually conquer). I think this will not happen before ships are more than just nacked power+thrust+amc because hull and deko add so much weight.

Condense angled and colored armor into one type

Either that, or make paint scematics easy to come by and take cheap stuff to make, like cactus + some grass for green, flowers + lava for red, ect. Then everybody would be destroying planets. For stuff like color, we should use things that magically regenerate. Or it should be more or less...

      Docking for non-symmetrical entities

I deleted my +1... You mean that each docking enhancer adds something like volume? This idea only solves one issue out of many - not things like triangular docking for either tall and high or low and broad ships. I would like a more general solution. EDIT: It just adds more...

      Signs are very needed

But should they load if you are close to them? Just thinking about a capital with 1 sign per 100 blocks, 100 million mass .. There could be a limit of X per ship if they load from distance. My last and only info is, blocks currently have only 3 bytes ram (don\'t quote me on this though).

Condense angled and colored armor into one type

especially the last part. I don\'t really see the importance of paint as an item, it just works as a barrier for creativity on a matter that is entirely cosmetic. Or use color-items to paint and get a Grey hull and color item if you salvage colored parts.

      TRANSPORTERS

http://star-made.org/content/teleporters-2 (2013-12-30) you know space is infinite and how we can travel fast long distances? we may use teleperters, maybe they can be gates... First and only comment The trouble with making teleporters long range is the game would lose it\'s point...

      Better ship destruction

But I would like clouds of vaporized materials to be collectable with a magnetic collector and the salvage beam to not just move the blocks to your inventar, but vaporize them and require factories to get new, working blocks. Thought about writing a topic about vaporized clouds as blocks may...

      The Shield/Hull Problem

Calculate hull armor above shields to make nacked ships weaker. Damage leaking shields (start at 80% and go down...) to give small fighters a chance to do some damage Shields which absorb damage propationally to the current shield % +/- x absolute and x percent (suggested by me too, thus at...

      dynamic lighting

I thought it would be more like in Space Engineers and did the same. For small ships it would not be that hard. But big ships covered in lights... LAG :)

If plex doors also make the paint block walk-though :)

Open plex doors making adjacent blocks see-through (current and most recent dev)

I experience this as well with the default textures. Strangely it only happens in one direction. (ie: blocks leftmost to a 3x3 door are fine but the connecting blocks on the right are bugged. http://imgur.com/tmgBbnP,b7lAatz,bn75nCw#0 first and third image. Corners are bugged too. Not only in...

We need Anti-Gravity blocks :D (Don\'t take that seriously)

      Official Texture thread

It would be cool to have a permanent overlay for build mode, with clear visible blocks, highlighted black blocks and such. BTW: Why is the block-config completely server-side? I would like a soft ambient shiny-animation on basic interior hull, but it is impossible to add light or...

      Flooring (Small suggestion)

Computer blocks which support custom code from pre-selected functions

X-Series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X3:_Reunion has an Scripting interface where everybody can write own scripts. I don't know if one of you (especially Omni and Schema) know it. It is good! The interface is hirachical Math Player Give credits ("__INT__ = Give the player __INT__...

      Repair Bay

I give make it +4. I would like it to require a hollow shape open at two sides Give big ships with autopilot the ability to align to one of 6 possible orientations and only allow to strafe. This makes collision checks vs shipyard-tubes a lot easier as it only needs to be done in 2D vs a...

      Magnetic Docking System

and gforce is the force of gravity, which means it would require a large source of gravity to begin with I guess he means forces messured in g (Earth gravity, relative), caused by velocity changes.
