      And it's a completely fair nerf, too! It just enhances the effect of maneuverability on your ability to hit a target with forward batteries. It doesn't artificially take anything away.

      These are workarounds that don't work for all ship designs. Better, but you still have to remember to sit down. Really, we just need our avatars to remain in place while using something. That would solve the problem and improve immersion a lot in multiplayer.
